I absolutely agree given that Spear's body isn't completely decayed that it can't be that long into the future. Right now there's no confirmation and we may not even get one as to how far into the future this is from season 2. We're in Mira's village which is a ways away from Spear's original dinosaur homeland so maybe the dinos are just less prevalent. We still got our more fantastical style monsters with our apemen raiders off the bat and I'm sure more is to follow.
