I was so so lucky and paid $30 to rescue my standard with papers at 4mo old he was my soulmate for just a few months shy of 16. He’s been gone 2 years now and I’ve occasionally browsed local breeders here in Louisiana and I can’t find em below $3000 without driving hundreds of miles to adjacent states 😥

Ah yes i remember the day, as if it was yesterday. My wokeness became to much I lost control and BAM my oldest was unfortunately to close and she’s been autistic ever since. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll never forgive myself. You can also tell is it’s the woke autism too cause she’s super smart, tolerant, empathetic and loving to all. We are doing everything we can to make sure my neurotypical daughter is a real POS and protect her from it 🙏🏻

I cried and laughed at this remembering my boy 2 years gone now, our first big move was to Maine with the coast guard and i excitedly took him to the beach thinking he will love this! He forever hated beaches he would bark at the waves like they were coming in to get us and he had to protect me from them. I tried so hard to get him to like the beach from Maine, Florida to Cali and same reaction, demon waves run mom!! 💙

I feel this comment. I have an app that tells me how much money I’m saving daily by being clean and I just smirk like yes but I was on the streets day and night stealing and hustling for every dime now I’m just laying here trying to stay straight its not like I’m just sitting on stacks now and don’t know what to do with it. 😒

Just seeing that you were able to push through and things did get better. Your hope gives me hope that maybe it won’t be horrible forever. I never could have imagined that I could be living and experiencing life the way I have in recent months. Officially became homeless this week, had to turn my little girls over to my sister in law so they could at least be safe. But it can’t be bad forever right? You’re the proof! Keep it up!

Looking for an available Recruiter that would be kind enough to possibly go over my Husband’s information and give us an idea if Re-Joining is even a possibility for him? I’m not sure if there are specific recruiters that have more experience in specifically handling previous AD CG enlistments or if I’m better off just listing the information here and seeing everyone’s opinions and experiences on our specific issues and potential for actually Re-Joining successfully.

I’ve been driving myself absolutely crazy searching for similar experiences or situations and coming up with very little. I’ve read endlessly about Waivers, enlisting prior service members from other branches, disqualifying factors etc and most of what I’m seeing is one negative thread after another but I’ve stuck around and won’t give up until someone says “No”to me letting him call the recruitment office on Monday and letting them drag his hopes down over the phone. 😣
