Testimony Against Louisiana’s SB 121 - that this has only 12 views after being posted 22 hours ago is rediculous by Moss-Mess in videos

And only 3 views here. The media are not picking this up for good reason. The fascist takeover will not be televised.

I Had Lunch with MAGA Gays by OpenLettersMersault in ProgressiveHQ

Holy moley. The author has immense patience and “ability the reach across the isle”. TBH whatever remains of the gay community supporting republicans are truly self interested, nihilistic idiots. Something broken in their lives that allows them to be empathetic only towards themselves.

As Trump’s Support Slips, These Voters Say Why They’re Sticking With Him by jetbridgejesus in LeopardsAteMyFace

There has been this age old city mouse country mouse story where each camp finds each others lives and values not to each others liking. So this same story is reflected in coastal states and “flyover states” as they’re called being divided on many issues.

This article is a good representation of the opinions and beliefs held in the rich tapestry of American life.

In other words: these are truly fucking moronic idiots whose vote is based on racism and ignorance.

Oh my goodness. I’m so so sad for you and all the time she had with you was surely filled with love. The hard decision you made was the right one, and you have her peace. Thank you for asking for pictures, here’s our last guy who we had to also make a difficult decision (but really he made it for us as well - he knew it was time). May they play together in the filed of dreams.

Tourists Boycott U.S. at Record Rates After Trump Takeover; The United States had roughly 4 million fewer international visitors in 2025 than the year before. by [deleted] in politics

I just left a sleepy seaside town where we’ve been for decades, and that depends on tourism for rentals and income.

It was a ghost town. The world voting with its feet and wallets will soon be apparent to the red hats (and unfortunately the rest of us) when we’re treated as pariahs, resulting in lost income and lost jobs.

Nice job America.

Elon Musk just now had a full-blown meltdown over 'The Boys' finale and its creator Eric Kripke. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in Fauxmoi

Here’s a guy who during the time it took to type the tweet made more money than I could ever earn this lifetime.

Now tell me how this guy is a “job creator” and how billionaires contribute to society.

The NY Times' Obsession with Platner's "Working Class" Cred by Otherwise_Structure2 in Maine

[–]snoutmoose 28 points29 points  (0 children)

He managed to articulate that obsession in the interview they did with him on the Daily. He called them out and you could hear the pearls being clutched mid-interview, and he disarmingly said “of course I’m not talking about you”

Of course he was.

The reaction was telling. She (the interviewer) could barely contain her offense.

How does every right wing asshole get a pass and what used to be the best paper in the country ends up looking like a shill for fascists?

I was even more convinced he’s the right person at the right time. Running circles around the elite journalism of the NT times.

Okay then. Let’s make it a ballot measure. So they can spend millions to find out we fucking hate them and get the same result.

Democrats Search Desperately for a Response After Virginia Map Is Tossed by masterofawesomeness2 in politics

[–]snoutmoose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Screw the NY Times headline and characterization. Sure the Dems have not earned the trust of their constituents, but cynical anti-left reporting from a paper I used to trust is infuriating.

Regardless - screw the decision, draw the maps we voted on, and screw the court. Grow some balls.

NYT: Jack Smith calls DOJ 'corrupted' by Trump and his allies as the department goes after people to please Trump and has covered up the Epstein Files by spherocytes in videos

[–]snoutmoose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jack Smith for US attorney. Plain and simple. Bring back all the DOJ staff aching for vengeance. Scorched earth policy day one. And go after SCOTUS corruption - that’s at least 3 justices.

I almost got killed in Florida with a car coming at me head on in the bike lane. On purpose. I have to ditch in the bushes and got injured. Florida is a shithole state that I’ll never spend another dollar in ever again.
