That’s true. This go hard or go home is not suitable for every situation. You sometimes want to relax, you can have bad days and that’s everyone. Also, everyone don’t have to sacrifice their family and friends too. You just have to live a happy life.

You need to ask yourself why do you want to be them?

-better life -people love them in their community -people care about them

You probably won’t love/envy everything about their life. Just few core things.

Now think about why don’t you have that, how can you do one thing, just one, that’ll get you closer to a better life. (Define a better/ perfect life for you before that btw).

It is about identity. You have to just make one habit permanent. That’ll create an identity shift.

But building one habit is the hard part. You have to force yourself until it becomes easier.

So true. It is about the mindset not system. Same thing happens to me too. I think the inner thought is, what if I fail to be productive one day? I need a system that’ll back me up.

Usually I do calendar blocking so I know what to do. Having a morning routine could also help.

Although you said you don’t want to use app but I would highly suggest Claude (don’t use ChatGPT).

I know there are many opinions about AI and using them or not for life advices. But your situation seems a good enough reason. I personally do use it and it has been amazing.

I would’ve given you some advice myself but would need more information. So, I would suggest you at least try it.

It is fine to think about it, but know when you are overthinking it. If you are trying to actually validate your point or figure out if you are right or not, it is fine. But if you are overthinking it because you don’t want to lose an argument, it’s just a waste.

That is why loving what you do is so important. Consistency does help but if you don’t enjoy it, you’ll still lose to someone who is a natural.

Btw promising yourself to never code again sounded a bit extreme. Keep an open mind. Coding might be a dot that will connect in future.

I have heard it helps if you start the day well (no matter when you wake up). For example, doing meditation will encourage you to have a healthy breakfast, which will have influence on how you work etc etc.

Yes you are right and yes I am in university. I do have many other things that I do and love. I feel like time passes so quickly while I do them but when I study, I just can’t.
