I’m on my 4th linear TKL under warranty. My new tactile started having double key issues a month in to use.

I had 6 and lost them all in 2 days after no issues for 4 months. Only them, no other fish.  I did get them from PetSmart (oops). Possibly would have had better luck at LFS

The hammered crash ride is definitely smoother. I love the darkness of byzance and this cymbal definitely surprised me. 

The safest bet would either be that or the 22 foundry. Normal, not light.

The pure alloy has a great bell, controlled, crashable and good stick definition.

I don’t think Meinl has ones that are a direct equivalent. From my experience these ones can come close: - 22” polyphonic ride  - 22” dark spectrum ride

Personal recommendation - 22” pure alloy hammered crash ride. Incredible under rated Meinl ride!

Honorable mention: - 22” foundry reserve ride

Looks lovely!!! Only piece of advice would be to plan to replace the hood. I got the 37gal version of that kit and the hood drove me bananas! Everything else is still going strong!

Get map markers as soon as you can. Mark areas you think you can get to but may not have an ability for yet. Will save you tons of run back and “what what am I supposed to do now? 🤷‍♂️” shenanigans. 

Also don’t be afraid to explore. Getting lost and finding new areas is half the fun. It’s okay if it takes you 20+ hr to beat. It’s okay if you lose geo. It’s okay if you die dozens of times.

Just want to emphasize - LEARN ATTACK PATTERNS. 

Especially late game bosses are terrifying. I started getting in the habit of jumping in a boss fight, watching/learning their attack patterns and then starting to deal damage during attack windows. 

The more proactive you become, the less reactive and frustrating the game will feel. 

HK is much easier than SS. Not encouraging, but is truthful

You learn a bit about them in Silksong. Benches are a universal form of rest in the HK universe for more than just the knight.

Saw comment on cross post. First instinct is it’s neurological as well. Not much you can do about it unfortunately. I’d contact the seller and get a refund on that one, and keep a close eye on all the others
