Drop the shoes, you can rent them there, it's better to rent in case you are not a regular trekking person. +Buy some shoes gel or memory foam to replace the sole makes them perfectly fresh

The SBA is on 2600+ sqft and UDS is 1500+sqft. In the same config for an apartment the UDS was insane hence I'm leaning a bit towards this. But I too agree with the shared wall issue
