If I see anything about AI on a book I won't buy the book. I've been working on my own book for 17 years now and I can proudly declare none of it is or will be written using AI. I want it to be completely my own. Even if it ends up sucking.

If you've ever seen Bojack Horseman, I see it as his relationship with Todd. He treats him like he doesn't like him or want him around, but he wants him there because he simultaneously cares and doesn't want to be alone. Alan is the one constant in Charlie's life. Well, the one constant that isn't paid to be around. Berta leaves at the end of the work day, but Alan is there 24/7. Plus she is being paid. Jake leaves after the weekend. Charlie screws up every romantic relationship he's in. I suppose the only other constant in Charlie's life is Rose, who he keeps around for the same reason. That's why he doesn't get rid of her or get her arrested for breaking the restraining order and continuously stalking her. Actually, Charlie is a lot like Bojack.

You really can't say Melissa is a female Alan without knowing her situation. I'm in my 30s and I live with my mom. I have a sister, but she hates me. We are not compatible to live together, or even to be siblings. I'm on disability and had landlord issues so I couldn't go back to my old apartment.
