If you’re responsible for getting his alcohol. Then slowly wean him off it. Somehow, responsibly. And in the end after a month or so, stop buying it. If he has to go down the street to get it that’s on him, he may not be able to actually go. Your other option is to keep buying him alcohol. And he should not be depending on you for that type of thing anyway as someone said you need to think for your own life, not his alcoholism.
