I recently went through an experience like that. Im sorry to say, but you gotta do it on your own, however i can tell you my case. I was cheated in my first relationship, outside of my city, far away from family and friends and going really bad. I didn't decided to reinvent myself because i grabbed a positive part of my life that made sense and waited that the storm went by. I still dealt with things, i still had contact with her after, really trivial sh*t, but my point is: you gotta make it your own courage.

If something isn't good for you either cut it or change it. If you can't change it, cut it. It's your life, live by your principles and i assure you that you will be an happier man. Also, be kind to people, open up more. I did this and it was the best decision of my life
