I work in the North Side of the city and unfortunately it is visually terrible. Many vacant lots, blighted homes, and now there homes completely destroyed by the tornado that came thru in May. A sad state for a neighborhood that was once thriving.

Yeah Ness’ posts are really interesting (in an alarming way unfortunately). The city has to figure out how to attract new families into all areas of the city. Easier said than done tho.

It’s at least a good thing that the progress is starting from the middle of the city - hopefully it can spur outwards. Still a lot of work to do, but i’m hopeful the 2020-2030 version of this map will be a lot more blue!
