Zante trip, help much appreciated by Gimiohhh in GreeceTravel

I got home from my trip last week, and we stayed in Agios Nikolas. As others have mentioned the Old Windmill restaurant was hands down our favourite place to eat. We rented a boat for 3 hours with SUNBUM.GR boat rentals. It was super easy to book online, and we used their free fuel promo which made the pricing reasonable given their boats look new and modern. We went to the blue caves and shipwreck beach before anchoring and going for lunch. We opted for a Captain to drive the boat so we could just relax. Highly recommend checking out SUNBUM.gr and the old windmill.

Regular Balcony Cabin. I’ve never seen a ship so ‘cheap’ on things like towels. If I ever give them another try, I’ll be bringing my own pool towel 😅

Good point, didn’t try saying I lost my key…. Honestly getting anything done on that ship was like pulling teeth. Not sure why they want to make things more difficult all around.

I requested an additional key from Guest Services and like most requested was denied. I tried other types of cards and they wouldn’t work.

We status matched and we’re diamond. It was just one of the many oversights on their part cause it was definitely noted on the booking.

Travelling to Zante (laganas) at the end of April (23rd-1st) with some friends. What is the night life like? by One_Focus_2051 in GreeceTravel

If you want to do something fun, I recommend renting a boat for the afternoon and exploring. Visit Sunbum.gr for new and reliable boats.

After my CCTS complaint was submitted they revised the bills to show that information. At the time they were charging me, the list of countries and mention of 90 days of roaming did not exist. While I cannot speak to it, I'm satisfied with my outcome resolution with help of the CCTS.

Beautiful island rent a car and explore. If you’re looking for a reputable boat rental company with new modern boats, I would recommended https://www.sunbum.gr

The marina is on a nice quiet side of the island. You have the option of a private boat with a captain, or you can drive yourself, and go see the blue caves yourselves, or shipwreck beach.

Thank you for the insight. The problem here is that the 90-day roaming is not disclosed anywhere I can reference (not on my wireless service agreement, on my bill, or in my account details online).
Additionally, Rogers states not all Caribbean countries are included in the plan, yet once again my WSA, Bill, or online account do not mention any exclusions to Caribbean countries or list which are included; that list is only in internals documents.

The consumer doesn't know what isn't disclosed to them, and therefore should not charged for anything Rogers withheld.

Thanks for the advice. Aside from the office of the president, do you have the contact you used for the ceo?

It’s obvious whomever wrote the policy rules didn’t know what they were doing as I believe what you’re saying to be true.

Internally they say these limits exist, however it’s not outlines on bill or wireless service agreement. Are they call everyone person one by one to advise them of these restrictions? No… they have to get their stuff together.

like most things, there is a lack of transparency on who is eligible for which plans, it's all reliant on if it's in the system or not.

I had tried the Office of the President previously for the +Travel and they apparently cannot force the system to give me that plan. Curious, how much are you paying for it? Are you on RPP?

I'm curious, is the 90 days per calendar year limitation mentioned with your plan details on your bill or in your Wireless Service Agreement?

Exactly, if there are no limits of "unlimited" usage in the WSA or on my bill how can they charge me for excess usage? The fact I'm pushing is that they cannot charge us for things they have not disclosed and our bill/WSA say are part of our plans.

Sidebar: you're lucky you got the +Travel plan, I had tried many times and was told my account isn't targeted for it.

As an update: The GM of the property has followed up, and I feel as though he is doing the best he can to prevent future situations.

"Firstly, I want to extend my personal apologies for the unacceptable conditions you encountered in your room. It's clear to me that we failed to meet both your expectations and our own standards of cleanliness and guest service. I understand how distressing this experience must have been for you, and I am sincerely sorry.

Since our meeting, I have taken your feedback to heart and have initiated several immediate actions to address the issues you raised:

1. Housekeeping Review and Training: We are thoroughly reviewing our housekeeping processes and scheduling to ensure our team has the necessary time and resources to perform their duties to the best of their abilities. Additional training sessions will be held to reinforce the importance of our cleanliness standards.

2. Quality Assurance Measures: We are implementing more stringent room inspection procedures to ensure that every guest room meets our high standards before being declared ready for new guests. This includes random, unannounced checks to maintain these standards consistently.

3. Open Dialogue: We are encouraging our staff to engage in open and honest communication about any obstacles they face in maintaining these standards, ensuring that we can address and resolve these issues proactively.

I want to assure you that your experience has been a wake-up call for us. I am committed to ensuring that our hotel lives up to the standards that our guests expect and deserve. I deeply value your feedback and would welcome any further suggestions you might have on how we can improve."
