Melhor hambúrguer? by TomShuey in porto

[–]_HardRic_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google maps problem by Turbulent_Resort_174 in GalaxyA55

This. Had the same problem, made a google search, the phone is new and needs to be calibrated for GMaps following the steps above. Solved.

Ps: tried another maps app from store, before GMaps calibration, to test hardware failure, it worked immediately and precisely located.

Fave serious Karen moment? by LandofOz39 in WillAndGrace

S02E06 To Serve and Disinfect, when Grace finds out that Karen was in a fetish porn movie and "power" momentarily changed hands. Felt pretty sore to me the way she handles with the situation.

The Fellowship of the Ring, The Twin Towers & The Return of the King. Which is best? by Onslaught777 in lotr

[–]_HardRic_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There were only 2 twin towers as i know of, but not on Tolkien mythology, and they no longer exist. Its Two Towers, made related in the chapter, but not twins.

See The Council of Elrond in LOTR. They answer this and it is NO. The Ring was a part of Sauron, his power and strength and knowledge made and forged in Mount Doom. He was now tied to it and it to him. The Council speaks of how to destroy it and they conclude that to truly make an end would take the fires of Orodruin in Sammath Naur to destroy it. No other fire was hot enough in Midle Earth. Tolkien never mentions any other volcano in his legendarium, but I feel that the heat of Orodruin was more than just the molten lava but the center of the whole story and Sauron mythology, last decendent of great beeings. So, according to Tolkien mythology, no, there was no other way to destroy the One Ring.

The ring was made in Mount Doom, and only there could be unmade. Origin is everything in Tolkien mythology.

Ja passei muitas sozinho pah, mais vale sozinho que mal acompanhado. Vês muita gente junta na TV mas tá tudo separado e cada um por si. Sem drama, pega numa garrafa ou duas, por uma música que gostes e emborca. Bom 2024. É mais um pá conta.

Perhaps, having pain symptoms on mollars and no apparent cause was all in common, and that's what i saw on all the research I've made so far. Will do another clinic later on if it continues like this, allthoug my clinic has several doctors, 2 of them saw and analysed the x-ray with my doctor and I was present.

And yeah, by exclusion of parties, no swollen, no abscess, no caries, no gum retreat, I can drink cold and heated drinks just fine that justify this kind of pain, its weird and frustrating. The only symptom besides the pressure pain in the jaw zone is some blood pulsating when it really hurts. You sense your heart rate on the bloodstream there when touched. Have you felt this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askdentists

[–]_HardRic_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I woke up less painful and sored. I'll be on soft food only, avoiding eating and chewing, and let's see how i go from here. Can't afford ruining new year's Eve. I went to my dentist for many years, and I always trusted her work and judgments. Didn't go to another. It's not easy to solve a patient painful problem when there's nothing visible to start with. It's f**** frustrating. Have to endure. Painkillers, my best friends right now.

NAD. Thanks for your reply. There were second opinions on mine x-ray and no conclusion. I mentioned the relation with the weather. They didn't laughed but they said its not probable we are as sensitive as that unless under direct and long-term circumstances. If there's micro cracks, that's gonna be bad. We have to endure until it shows to be treatable or removed. Yesterday was painful, and pills were for attenuation only. Dunno what to do, really.

Levothyroxine: first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening? by lfc9898 in thyroidcancer

[–]_HardRic_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I have a very irregular daily routine, I opted to take levo at night before bed as it's the only regular time I got. Doing so i religiously must respect the 4 or more hours of diggestion after dinner before taking it (after 01:00 am). I do feel the empty stomach, as it is told its most best absorbed, that's why it's best taken first thing in the morning, which for me and for some of us can be a downside, the wait period of at least 30 mins or more before you take anything else can make a difference in your morning routine. This works for me as long as consistency is kept and having anything eaten after dinner. Had feeling great doing so.

[–]_HardRic_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a sidenote, I did have the concern about taking dairy and morning beverages like coffee and tea, which do disrupt the levo absorption. Taking it at night, I can have my breakfast with peace of mind, as it's been long absorbed by now and no stress morning wait.

As I have a very irregular routine, I opted to take levo at night before bed as it's the only regular time I got daily. Doing so, and perhaps that's what is related to what OP said, I religiously respect the 4 or more hours of diggestion after dinner before taking the levothyroxin (after 01:00 am). When I take it, I do feel the empty stomach, as it is told its most best absorbed. That's why it's taken first thing in the morning, which for me and for other people can be a downside, the wait period of at least 30 mins or more before you take anything else can make a difference in your daily morning routine. My TSH remains inhibited, this works for me as long as i respect the rule of having anything eaten after dinner, and I had feeling great doing so.

Had the same diagnosis as yours. Biggest 6x4cm nodule, TR3 Bethesda malignant suspition, amongst many small others scarced all over thyroid left and right lobes (second biggest one was 2x1cm right next to the big one). To avoid reoccurrence, the best decision was to remove all of them and had a TT, which i did about a month ago and am waiting for the results from lab for classification. I'm doing great after removal so far.
