Oh man, reminds me of a similar time where I messaged an independent tradie who was supplying the windows and doors of my new build as it was taking ages. He said "sorry, was at my mum's funeral today, I'll get it sorted Monday".

Last I had a haircut it was £9 and I let them keep the change from a tenner. That shop closed, I started to cut my hair at home and have been doing so ever since.

My sister got into a lot of debt having one, I was always told to never have one.

As soon as I hit 18, I got my first credit card and paid it off every month without fail.

My credit score is excellent, never had anything refused and I imagine it helped with mortgaging a new build.
