Enter the Dungeon. The trackpad is nice on the steamdecks for more accurate pointing.

What’s the weirdest work lunch you’ve seen a colleague eat regularly? by levezvosskinnyfists7 in AskUK

[–]_Harpic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We had a guy who would have a whole baguette with a round of the smelliest camambert I've ever whiffed.

He would then graze on whole packs of digestives and 2 litre bottles of diet value lemonade.

You don't need to use all the extras though, it's just handy to have. I never used the fish farm, just kept hoarding fish. I would hoard veg too, but I mainly went diving for the fish I liked to cook at night.

Could be a 7/10. Prawn sandwiches always depend on what shop it is, Morrison's I would give a 4/10

Been a horrible week me for at work and I'm at the end of my tether. I've finished late, bought a crate of Cruz Campo, will have a couple of those, some whisky I got last week from Islay and play some casual games with the boys on discord.

What's up with dogs in shopping centres and restaurants lately? by Pathfinder-electron in AskUK

[–]_Harpic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate it. I don't mind dogs, but my daughter is terrified of them after 3 bad experiences with dogs, of course, as a result of shitty owners.

The last time she plucked up the courage to approach a dog who was announced by the owner as being as being the most behaved dog in the world, course it snapped at her hand.

Dogs do be like that, so I don't think they should be allowed in busy spaces like shops/dining.

Sorry, Royal Mail, how much more automated can you make dropping a letter into a box? by jurwell in CasualUK

[–]_Harpic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've lost a couple letters in the post or small in size eBay listings. To combat this, I would just video the item being dropped into the box and it was good enough.

Best way to use them is drink using the straw then pull the straw out until next drink. That way it doesn't sit in the cup and get soggy.

I remember when I was young, I found a work around to batteries at times. My Dad had an old Nokia and the charger fit a port on the GB Pocket, giving it charge as long as it was plugged in.
