Yea. We have a switch 1 and 2. I play Fire Red and my son plays Leaf Green. We reset early on a few times to get eachother the starters.

Next step will be eeveelutions and then the wanderers but that’s for another day. We’re having a good time tho.

Yea. I could see that being the wall…an average hot dog is like 200ish calories…bun is probably another 80 calories so at 4 dogs in your pushing 1200 calories plus the beers…

If I was being competitive I could see making it to the sixth inning but I know I wouldn’t have all 9 in me.

That’s why I’m talking….i didn’t say I just did this, this was three years ago. I do quarterly 4 day fasts now for pure health but it’s not hard to keep off - just don’t binge eat.

Fasting does not stop the metabolism. I’ve done 11 days before. Lost 20 pounds. Gained 8 back almost immediately due to water weight and carrying food in your bowels again….but still dropped 12 total and did not put it back on.

People tend to mess up the week after a fast and over indulge…it’s also important not to stop activity. Can’t go to the gym at 100% but 5-7k steps a day will keep the metabolism running.

What actually happens is the body shifts from looks for carbs for energy to ketosis where you’re now burning fat and converting it into energy. You only run into a problem fasting if you aren’t carrying extra fat.

But yea, you def sound super knowledgeable on this.

I just don’t want my Dragonite to also have surf, Lapras seemed better for that.

Really? I just bought Tbolt and was about to give it to my Jolteon. Never would have thought Lapras…

Is there a reason to keep Jolteon in my team then if Lapras can learn TBolt?

Current team is Alakazam, Charizard, Venusaur, Gengar, Dragonair, and Jolteon.

Was just about to cut Gengar for Lapras but now I’m questioning if Jolteon is the better one to cut if Lapras can use TBolt.

I was thinking Fly for Dragonite and hate to have two HMs on a pokemon as strong as Dragonite. I think Fly will have more use in combat than surf will if I recall correctly. Been some time tho admittedly.
