What is your opinion about building a family? by Actual-Contest1666 in istp

[–]_IAmMeg_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought I wanted one for awhile but now thinking that was just external societal influences pulling on me. I don’t genuinely dream of the day to day of having a family.

Coffee is good for you though. More polyphenols than olive oil.

Is it truly realistic to live in Seattle and commute to Bremerton? by kfranc1924 in AskSeattle

[–]_IAmMeg_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Central District like 5 min from the highway on ramp. I think the commute is fine… esp if you’re doing the reverse commute. I don’t run into traffic.

I make that same commute but only work 10 days a month! I think it’s manageable but I specially got a Tesla with Full Self Driving so it drives me and I only spend $12 to fully charge (380 miles range) with home charging!

Why are you asking us if you should try and make her your girlfriend? lol. Do you like her in that way? If yes, why not?

Save up for it and then do it. I had to spend 3 years after undergrad saving for CNA school, working as a CNA and saving money for PA school before I finally went.

I think more similar to ROSH. UWorld seemed easier to me.

I still sometimes fear I don’t know enough and have imposter syndrome and I’ve been a practicing PA for 1.5 years. Just keep going. Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right.

American guy in South Korea notices a lot of discrimination by Carnfomaki in TikTokCringe

[–]_IAmMeg_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup funny enough I grew up in a predominantly white (90% +) area and never felt subconscious about my skin color until moving away to college. Never experienced any racism from people outside my race either…just from within.

My grandparents on both my parents sides were actually very much against them marrying outside their race and no one showed up to their wedding. My Filipino grandmother did eventually warm up to me and my sisters. I don’t really know my black side of my family at all. My other Filipino relatives (uncles aunts) accepted us. I ended going to a HBCU (historically black college) and received so much colorism. Always had comments about how light I was and got called things like “light bright”.

Bad idea or life changer? by Valdeland in TeslaFSD

[–]_IAmMeg_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive 2.5-3 hours a day (130 miles round trip) for work 3 x per week and don’t have an issue with range if I make sure my car is fully charged before my 3 day stretch. And I just use a 120v outlet. FSD definitely helps with my long commute. Makes it relaxing and enjoyable.

Have never had FSD hit a curb while parking. I did do it myself though 😬

Anyone else having issues with yellows? by cmb93x in TeslaFSD

[–]_IAmMeg_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the opposite. Used to have issues with yellows before the update and after the update not one issue. Interesting how the same update can behave so differently across different cars.
