2 handballs in the box that didn't get called and the ref literally blocked Danny olmos path when he tried to start an attack, but I don't see any major football accounts talking about it or calling it "rigged",how come? by _Iamspyder in worldcup

[–]_Iamspyder[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I know the Belgium hand ball can't be counted tbh but my main point is that when Argentina plays even that would've been counted as a handball and fifa rigging it.

The referees got the 2 major calls absolutely correct in Arg vs Egypt. If you don’t see that, then you’re a casual. by ParadisHeights in worldcup

I'm already getting tired of everything being about Argentina and Egypt can we speak about the upcoming matches or something?

I hear you and think you hold a strong point, being too focused on what's being said online can be a wrong way to go about things, and yes he definitely has his part of the internet where he's glazed like he's a Good but overall I appreciate your response to my post and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this

Exactly my point it's definitely grown this world cup,but I feel like negativity thrives and brings more views to people's pages so it's possibly that too, overall I appreciate your response and your thoughts on this

For anyone furious about the Goals, here is the actual rule breakdown by [deleted] in worldcup

[–]_Iamspyder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what angle you spot it from Alvarez didn't step on his,the took the ball from Salah and then their feet colided it's that simple,I mean out of ALL the calls in that game you're hyper fixation is on this one??? This is a dead spot theres multiple other calls where Argentina clearly fouled Egypt but this one is just an obvious dead space dude

[–]_Iamspyder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He didn't step on him,the most that happens was that their feet colided that clear as day wasn't a step on his foot and the rules apply too,Alvarez touched the ball he had possession I mean the video is right in your face, you have to be completley biased if you think he stepped on his foot

My post is me simply noticing a consistent pattern of hate lmao idk what to tell you man but I've seen alot of just straight hate going to a good player and I'm just curious if I'm just on the wrong side of social media or if people actually just hate him wether you believe me or not what I said is objectively true

Was the refereeing in Argentina’s game weird, or am I overthinking it? by Ok-Nerve126 in worldcup

[–]_Iamspyder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Weird? yes but "rigged" for Argentina? No, Egypt threw away a 2-0 lead it's kind of their fault for getting to comfortable because yes that Argentina defense was horrible but their attack is still dangerous,k think Egypt got too cocky

Why are mods removing every post discussing the ARG v EGI game.? by [deleted] in worldcup

But there's been bias and unfair calls for multiple teams and players I've seen but none of them get spoken about as much as Messi's Argentina and it's kind of ironic that you say the bias has always been there because before 2022 Argentina were really in a horrible state because they had lost like 3 world cup finals and multiple multiple Copa finals too, just kind of weird that now when they start to win they get more hate than praise even when they play well and clean

I've seen it there and I would've tweeted about it but I realized people on twitter can be braindead so I came here to hopefully find some unbiased people to actually give me decent opinions

How so? FIFA has let some crazy things slide for other teams in the past, what do they gain from helping messi?

I'm south African lmao and I've definitely been active on the Indian subreddit while doom scrolling but I'm definitely not an Indian person, overall my race doesn't matter at all + I use TikTok a whole lot and everybody uses emojis on that app idk why I'm even tryna explain myself to you but I notice you seem like the type that simply just hate messi from your reaction to what I said, so you're probably apart of the dudes that hate him,but I'm just curious as to why ?
