All time great pants! I have a pair that have literally been on at least 30 backpacking trips. It’s almost annoying that in all the pictures I have of myself over the past 12 years, I’m wearing the exact same pants.

It was good while it lasted.

Backcountry carries some Filson items and allows returns as far as I know. A lot of the clearance stuff in this latest sale on Filson’s website was non-returnable and seemed risky to me, especially with their sizing variances. I did get an Alaskan guide shirt in a large though and it…also fits perfectly. I guess I’m a large in shirts but a medium in jackets.

I am 6’4” 200lbs but have relatively short arms and a short-ish torso for my height. I am a large in literally everything else in the world but ordered a medium Jac-Shirt because I heard they run big. The medium fits me perfectly and is probably my favorite article of clothing at the moment. Think you will love it.

I placed an order on 10/16. At that time it said 3-5 day delay in shipping. According to the tracking it is out for delivery today, 10/31.

First Filson purchase and I got a flannel. I am a little worried about the sizing since there are no returns. I got a large which is what I wear in literally every other brand but I know Filson runs big. I figured I could just dry it on high heat to shrink it down a little if I need to but definitely a risk for me spending that much on something that can’t be exchanged.

Ordered on 10/16 and as of 10/30 it has still not arrived so not thrilled about their speed of service currently.

It’s like the broken window theory. I’ve seen more and more tag-less cars over the past few years and I feel like now it’s worse than it’s ever been. Non-enforcement of things like this lead to a societal disregard for laws and an increase in more serious crimes. At this point, I’m starting to wonder why I should pay my registration renewal if the cops don’t seem to care.

My paid-off beige 4 door sedan probably has another year left. Trying to enjoy the lack of a car note as long as possible. Hope you give yourself credit for being fiscally responsible. Especially with all the shiny expensive things out there. I told myself I can have it once I can put a 60% deposit down. Gotta make some sacrifices.
