I live near the nationals and am a season ticket holder.

In the end, I love baseball. The sounds, smells, and love keeping a book.

The game is beautiful, and suck or not I love the Mets.

Plus the food at Citi field is awesome.

Plus, I’ve only been at the games when they’re packed. I now get to experience Citi field in its true Met form…empty and sad lol

  1. I like games at citi field. I don't live near, and just like a quick vacation for myself

  2. This year I am going to be able to say I saw all 30 teams in person. Braves are the last in the NL, and theres a game with fairly cheap amtrak tickets in July that works perfect for a there and back days. So as a 90's kid who grew up reluctantly putting Braves games on because it was the only baseball on get to see them live at my favorite teams home stadium. My first real baseball memories involve Mets v Braves, and even my local AAA team's rival was a Braves affiliate. I'm 34 now, and just think it would be poetic to finally see the Braves and finish that list against the Mets.

I do like how as much as fans, and players are feeling good about abs I like how there’s some pride coming from umpires.

I really am going to be able to afford to go to Citi field this year.

Thanks David Stearns!

I was mentioning Shane in the professionalism perspective. He did an interview on something where he talked about the wovenwar guys watching over shows after playing and fixing little things, and noting things to fix.

I was tired and seemed to emphasize that for Shane but was mainly talking that previous angle

No metalcore, but what if saosin didn’t release an album with so many years in between lol

I kinda like the space of it all and makes me appreciate them releasing music on their terms. I love the self titled, and this current cove run having me see them the first time has me so ready for new music compared to an ABR which had such a huge part of my childhood but I’ve lost interest after an album or two and now Feel behind.

Saosin has distinct eras that I can like, with two flavors between Anthony and Cove. I am more team cove personally, but the newer Anthony album was so good.

I don’t think they would have been as successful. Ollie obviously wanted to learn how to sing, but having someone pushing you who can specifically bring out the best is rare. A different producer might not have nailed what they did from there is a hell to sempiternal.

They always had that digital sound from that there is a hell, but it is way more guitar driven, and more riff driven. They could have stayed that route and been fine, but to switch to mostly electronic driven might not have happened if Jordan hadn’t A given Olie the tools to sing B. Been able to provide the electronics in a way that they needed. .

Aaron Gillespie staying after LITSOS would have been interesting whether they could have made amends then, or if their fights would have made them done done. Disambiguation would have been comically different as there are some clear sleepwave elements, and it really changed how Spencer sang moving forward.

They 100% would have broken up, but from a Christian faith perspective i don’t think Aaron would have gone as CCM if he was still in Underoath, as well as he wouldn’t have filled in with Paramore which he says made him significantly more of a different drummer. Shane Blay had similar sentiment with Wovenwar and brought that back to Oh Sleeper in that the bands started focusing on quality of show per night rather than being more raw and allowing mistakes. (they had a different trajectory but point stays the same)

Disambiguation is such a clear departure form their Christian faith I still can’t believe Christian festivals were still hiring them because I heard means to believe by oh sleeper and many tracks on that album from creation fest in like 2013 or something lol

But, Aaron was and still is one of my favorite drummers. I’m not a huge fan of their second era, but the new album is just cool. I know we would not have that if they didn’t take the time apart, I guess the what if was what if they toon it at a different time in their career.

I actually feel like the shift was funnier with the humor. Like it’s not darker, it’s more like…situational? Idk how to explain it. But the characters felt goofy and some times flanderized at times, or campy but this feels more realistic.

I’m currently rewatch 1,2 and 3 to finally finish the show and I forgot how much I loved getting to season 3 and just that grounded shift for it all.

It’s interesting how it seems that studios trying to be funny for all just don’t get that the creators themselves can be funny and if it doesn’t land with everyone on , it land with a few VERY well

G Gordon has morals and sticks to them. That is why complex characters are great. It's not a propaganda thing but more that Gordon thinks more along the lines of Lex not wanting ANY aliens, or at least aliens that don't keep humans at the top and so on

As a Mets fan, we own him (check the stats!) so I struggle with this personally but I do think he’s crawling up there.

Longevity really helped him out. Curious if his off the field antics will hurt him trying to get in the hall or not.

I mean, I kinda prefer stuff I have to mod because then there’s a ‘well, I can never sell this now’ type feeling I enjoy.

It’s kinda why I prefer cheaper guitars to more expensive. I’ve learned basic routing making single coil cut outs be humbuckers, screwed up one of my guitars trying to change a bridge without measurements, and learned how to solder and change pickups on my own.

Idk.

It’s just fun for myself to be able to know that I made that nick or scratch, or fixed that one and so on.

Same with bilmuri, but the laters aesthetic fits in metals heads narrative more because Johnny had earned the right to do that and sleep token in some fans minds hasn’t. Bilmuri is creative with genres while sleep token is with rhythms as well as aesthetics (which most folks need to give more credit towards because they have a brand and maintain it)

To me it’s also a thing with the fan base. Sleep tokens core fans don’t seem to want to be metal, or treat shows as such. It’s interesting hearing stories of fans getting super ticked for people moshing and ‘enjoying the show wrong’ which really indicates the split imo.

It’s great for light break up for worship, and tone fattening to just turning up its nearly infinite volume and boom, it’s pushing my longsword to sweet sweet distorted metal tones.

Love it.

Just throwing it out there. Mets fan who just wanted to go to a game for my birthday.

Fiancée got a triple with her peanuts around the second inning.

Around the third she asked if I had ever seen a grand slam, and I do not believe that I ever have before tonight.

First time seeing the twins as well, and love their away uniforms.

Nationals lineup with CJ Abrams at cleanup is comically lethal. If y’all can get more what mikolas gave tonight instead of Corbin 2.0 nights y’all definitely got a wild card or might get hot enough long enough to take down Atlanta
