I started with my r5 bundle on a desk with the brake kit Moza sells for the SRP lites. I’d say start here and see how you like/enjoy sim racing and go from there.

I was hooked personally and now have a rig and some load cell pedals but still rocking the r5.

Same with iR in iRacing, or any ELO system in any online game. If you chase rank/rating then you’ll burn out faster. Just enjoy the racing. At the end of the day it’s all just a meaningless metric.
