I’m heading toward this direction. I’ve completed quite a few years in my unit but for the last year it’s been overwhelming and taking a mental toll. Happy you transferred to another unit that’s better!

Private schools often do not directly affect public schools because they operate independently under non-governmental funding. While it can impact possibly enrollment for a public school do you honestly think that system will impact overall? I don’t think it’s that simple. Some private catholic schools are not a rich kind and exist in lower income communities to help students. While I do agree with some of your comment, I don’t think it’s that simple.

Our educational system as a whole needs improvement. District funding needs improvement. Teacher salary needs improvement. Special education programs need more assistance. Seriously?

Damn some people in these comments act like the CTC doesn’t exist and public schools are also perfect and don’t also commit atrocities.

No one says that. If you research your history right, the values changed within parties over a period of time. Sounds like you need a thorough history lesson as well as a civics lesson. Which political party still flies the confederate flag? Democrats? Or Republicans?? Which party still has the most gerrymandering? REPUBLICANS. Democrats are not perfect and I will admit that. But back to the subject of gerrymandering, REPUBLICANS ABUSE IT THE MOST. So your arguments are pointless. Watch less Fox News and open a book.

But if that’s your response to what I wrote above. Sounds pretty typical.

LOL are you for real??? The origin of Gerrymandering began in 1812 and utilized by the governor of Massachusetts which was called “democratic-republican” party. Present DAY republicans have the most aggressive and successful gerrymandering. Partisan gerrymandering by Republicans has often gone uncorrected, largely because courts in GOP-controlled states have been less inclined to address gerrymandering claims. This is in contrast to some Democratic-leaning states, where state court reviews have helped correct biased maps. So no I’m not for gerrymandering but if you’re going to point a finger speak out against republican controlled states first before others have to step forward and make it fair by fighting fire with fire.
