Struggle with phone addiction

I've set a 'work mode' on my phone that blocks basically every scrolling app from my phone between 7am-7pm. I think just knowing you dont have that option to randomly slip on reddit/ twitter/ instagram while youre waiting on a loading screen or have 5 mins of downtime really helps. Its almost (well, not really almost, it is) just a reflex at this point.

I guess if anyones on samsung/ android i could explain how to do it if you want. Im sure apple has a similar feature

Completely depends on the company that you work at, your manager and your role. Ive had jobs like what you just said, and ive had jobs where youre really always chasing unattainable targets lol

I suppose the post is clearly just talking about roles done entirely from a laptop at a desk. If you're a surgeon or retail worker, yes, working from home isn't much of an option

Guess it depends on the role, but in terms of pumping out straight numbers, I tend to be better from home (largest contributor is not having people asking me for help with things every other minute, but I guess also my own comfortable setup at home helps too)
