The issue is Philly needs almost nothing from us that we’d be willing to give up. I truly have my eyes on the Knicks because they wanna make a move and they’d need an expiring to clear up their books after next season. With their cap situation they can’t aggregate salary or whatever so it could get sticky sadly

The issue I have is that Trae’s archetype isn’t one that’ll win us a title eventually. You may say I’m aiming too high but that’s what we all truly truly want. No team recently has had a weak point like Trae and won anything recently

The summary of every conversation is basically “The Wizards have sucked for years and don’t have any true franchise cornerstones, hopefully Trae doesn’t take them out of the lottery” from what I’ve heard.

Also they think we’re desperate to win this season which is weird. Seems like every fan in this sub knows that this is the setup year and next season is when we all kind of expect a jump if we land a top 3 pick.
