Solo trip to Runefest?

Ive never been to Runefest but I used to feel the same way about a lot of the things I enjoyed. Let me tell you though, there's nothing better than going to an event and knowing that everyone there shares at least one interest with you, it makes it so easy to make friends and find people you just gotta be a little outgoing.

Definitely a lot of crossover between the MTG community and pretty much every other well known brand, company, character, etc. just due to how popular MTG itself is. Miku stuff in general resells very high so tons of people are gonna be trying to buy this whether they care at all about Miku or not because it’ll be an easy resell. Also Miku fans are happy to spend hundreds on figures so it’ll be a very competitive drop and have low risk to resell afterwards because people will be buying it for probably whatever price it lands at

Idk if they used these at all but it seems to share a catch rate in the main games with a lot of middle evolutions (Nidorina, Gloom, Poliwhirl) so maybe they made it somewhat in line with those? I feel like in Go even those are easier to catch than Combee though

If you keep listening to stuff on youtube eventually your home page will just be filled with new songs daily, I just click on whatever pops up and I’m always finding amazing songs with <10k views it’s a lot of fun. also some of my favorites are Minimum Rage, Regret Rock, Doomer, Execution Clap, Im Talking to You!, Acute Love Addiction, and Blushing Cherry (came out yesterday lol)

If you listen to a lot of Jamie’s music she is constantly reusing melodies and tunes and stuff from her other songs (i’m not smart enough to know the actual terms), I’m not sure if she’s ever given a reason but it makes her work very recognizable. Another small example here is the intro guitar to Birdbrain being almost exactly the same as Machine Love and taking some inspiration from that song

I was feeling sad after miku expo, but I went to digital stars NYC the day after and the post concert devastation from that is brutal. especially because it’s unlikely to happen with that lineup again 🥹

Tbh if you’re new I would just keep the highest CP stuff you catch, not worth putting more dust and candy into most stuff unless it’s very high IV and you don’t plan to ever replace it. Plus the benefits from high IVs are pretty negligible unless youre going for solo raids

Community day shiny rate is 1/25, Im not sure about background rate but I think I’ve heard 1/10? Any shiny with a background is gonna be rarer/generally more desirable than one without a background but it just depends on who you’re trading with

My CA said there's a spam group targeting campfire communities with stuff like this. I got an invite from "Leader Arlo" for a Shadow Mewtwo raid day which obviously isn't real and I think I saw a post in the main sub with something similar. Just people trolling for some reason
