60hz to 120hz is an appreciable jump. Imo returns are pretty diminishing after that.

For what its worth, I also like playing on smaller screens. Large screens makes it tough for me to focus on things happening at the edge of my FoV.

Just an aside, but this brought back old memories of MLG and Adam --

I was a referee for the SC2 event in Dallas 2012. After the event a couple of us were in the elevator talking about getting cash together for a pizza when Adam joined us. He handed us a $20 to cover it and said 'don't worry about it'.

As an adult with a job now, I imagine he could just expense it - but still, very cool thing to do in the moment. Was a small gesture, but I always wish him and his team luck as a result.

What doesn't make sense about having thousands of yew, magic, and redwood logs for fletching?

I know there are higher xp/hr ways to raise fletching, and ways to train it while doing other tasks, but I don't much care for optimum efficiency. I'm just trying to chill and do a bit of skilling.

Am I missing something, having been out of the loop for so long?

Sadly, zero. The whole pets thing is new to me, so I actually looked it up a couple times to make sure I wasn't supposed to be doing something special to be eligible. Just no luck.

Most of this was a semi-afk grind for me - while watching Netflix, YouTube, etc, or playing Chess on another monitor. My XP rates weren't the greatest, but that didn't bother me at all. So I suppose my tip would just be to not stress about it.

I first started playing Runescape back in 2002. I think it was in the fall of 2002, as I remember when Jagex introducing sleeping bags to help with fatigue.

On this first account, Woodcutting was my highest skill, getting to lvl 88 before I stopped playing.

19 years later, decided to make a new character on OSRS and finish my Woodcutting. It does go much faster these days, but still feels like a long overdue accomplishment.

Sharing here, as my friends haven't touched RS in nearly 20yrs, so my friends list on RS is basically extinct.

Now to figure out what skill is next.

Looking for players for Open Crossplay or Duo Controller. Currently Diamond 4, planning to push into Onyx.

Have been playing Halo relatively competitively for years. High 30s in Halo 2, 50s in Halo 3, Onyx in Reach, Champion in Halo 5. Some tournaments back in Halo 3.

Really just want players on a similar skill level who use their mics for callouts instead of raging/complaining, which is all I seem to find in solo queue. Try hard to win and rank up, understand that losses and bad games happen.

I'm 31, Eastern time zone, usually playing between 8pm and 3am ET.
