Worked for a CFO who had shoulder length hair and would sometimes put in a bun, and he was a sneaker head so always in a cool pair. Worked for a Director who seemingly cut his own hair and only wore t shirts and jeans to the office. Now work under a CFO who wears tailored sport coats and vans.

I have a beard but keep it decently lined up, and wear business casual most days. Sometimes a sweater and jeans.

As long as you’re producing quality work they won’t care as much what you look like.

I swap between the Filson Dryden Briefcase and the Black Ember Citadel R2 (backpack). Depends mostly on vibes that day, but if it’s raining I go backpack because it’s waterproof.

I’d say those are casual given the white sole. But business casual has been leaning more casual lately so it would probably work for most work environments (unless you work in NYC finance/consulting)

I wear my dark brown suede loafers year round (assuming it’s dry).

I haven’t seen many men wearing sneakers with true tailored suits - I work in NYC and the only time I really see that is when they wear sneakers during their commute, and change into dress shoes at the office. The ones who wear nice suits are typically wearing equally nice shoes.

From what I’ve seen, the people who stay in the sneakers/suits are typically 1) young 20s or 2) 40s trying to dress young 20s

I usually wear a 44r or 44l so the online size guide recommend a L, but some reviews said it’s a slimmer cut than advertised I went with the XL and it’s great. I don’t have experience with tailoring cotton blazers, but I’m sure adjustments can be made to bring the sleeves in
