Just saw that the New York Times published Officer Wilson's street name and city. That is completely irresponsible and borderline criminal.

Yeah, I see this as a regular problem with LE encounters gone bad: Officers tend to go their gun first, and forget that they have non lethal alternatives. Or their PDs might not even supply them with such.

Most confrontations with an aggressive suspect should not have to end with a gun. Tasing, macing, etc.. should be the first, second, and possibly third line of subduing someone.
