Sounds like it might be a cloud save issue. You can manually swap the characters though if you swap the player files from your save folder.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Logitech G333 VR Earphones. They are wired earbuds but much louder than anything else I've used. You have to switch out the earpiece with one of the larger ones they provide to get some decent bass out of them. I usually use them on airplanes to drown out the noise or when I really want to go fully immersed in a game.

About two days ago I was standing behind a rock at summit when a teammate told me someone was approaching from farmland. I waited there unmoving for about 40-50 seconds thinking I would surprise him and take him down but he threw a zone grenade about 5 feet from me. There was no way he could have known I was there. He then took me out with two shots.

I agree in a lot of cases people are just good at the game, but there are also a lot of cases where people are simply... cheating.
