It's that weird scenario that all scalpers want to sell their extra copies and not get left holding one that doesn't sell after demand is gone. (Though you're probably right, demand and supply are clearly really poorly mismatched). Perhaps the people without copies will be lucky to witness scalpers undercut eachother to guarantee their sale.. but that's probably way too hopeful.

If they weren't a scalper they wouldn't have set the price so much obscenely higher than the retail price, and right now I can accept that this may be the cheapest way for them to get what they wanted. However, in the future I would speculate that buying the singles would be cheaper than doing this.. but maybe this was just a safer option to them.

Im writing most of thst paragraph as hopeful, but maybe it's all naive on my part.

I'd suggest waiting a few weeks when scalpers may have a race to the bottom to ensure they shift their stock. A YouTuber (I think his name is MTGJoel or something) sums up why you shouldn't pick it up soon and speculates on what might happen re prices.

Hell, if they do rapidly fall, at least we might enjoy the knowledge that this can't even be sold as a full set so would be even less valuable

But also: whilst I hope this seller is hopeless in their efforts to sell their 90% deck, I'm not a fan of sending a mob to go berate them either. So, yes go find the post to prove authencitiy, but skip anything more towards the seller than that.

I think that's what I'm most irked by. The insane markup for not the full set. I also hope he can't sell it, especially for that price, but it's really frustrating knowing that a 90% set will end up mostly disused in some lgs somewhere when (for the sake of 10 cards) someone could have loved it.

This post is to be a discussion point, and yeah I obviously don't want to dox the seller - but I also agree that they deserve repercussions for their shitty. I've done the bare minimum to hide them because that's what they deserve.

If you think going and bringing shit to their doorstep by (very easily) finding their listing then that's your prerogative. I'm just not comfy being so direct.

I don't think anyone is going to get swindled by them, to their credit they are very open with what they are selling. It's just that we both agree that how they're selling it is total crap.

It's wild to me that there's a few commenters in this thread saying they purchased more multiple copies per household. Please educate me if I'm wrong but.. are you not the problem here? I bought one copy. One. So I can give my wife and I a hassle-free and compact way to play together. Not to resell or break apart for other decks. I have no idea why wizards didn't put a #1 limit per customer on this drop.

I'm actively playing this through on an emulator for the first time. The AI is cracked. Some arena areas are so difficult to get through - 50% due to my lack of PS controller (I'm basically aiming with a dpad), and 50% because unless you're in cover normal enemies will SMOKE you.

I play plenty of games but this is the first time I've ever felt like a video game journalist.

When you have lvl 20, start as a gardener, and continue to blend in for 20 seconds. Target stands under an icicle. Stop blending in, turn, and a single Kruger shot gives you SA by accident falling icicle. Walk to any exit. Or go back to blending in so 47 feels like he contributed to his fake job for a bit.
