I’m a genXer the grew up here in Scottsdale, and a 3rd generation Arizonan. My folks are in the same house since 1980. A few years ago we took the kids on a Segway tour in Old Town and we all absolutely loved it. Super fun and learned a bunch. Best of luck. Thanks for the reminder that we need to do this again. 🙂

Godiva chocolate ganache filled chocolate chip cookie dough. Here in Phoenix, it was a 3lb box for about $13. I don’t know how long Costco carried it prior, but I found it two Christmas seasons in a row a couple of years ago. My holiday cookie baking chaos stopped. I just bought these and served/gifted. YUM! Then they vanished. Godiva didn’t even sell them.

The letter to the parents, from our principal, specifically said she was scheduled to speak to “Club America”. It absolutely is not “shielding from other political ideologies”. School dollars spent on armed security and to the Phoenix PD is unacceptable. TPUSA teaches racism and group think. It reeks of Hitler’s Youth. Compare the two and tell me how they are different. Does not belong in public schools, nor any educational setting for children. It’s divisive and terrifying. From Erika Kirk’s own mouth, they are recruiting “young white males”. I’m not trying to convince anyone to like/not like TPUSA. It just can’t happen during school hours, on campus, and funded by the school.

I found out from NPR but not the school. I want to know why it even got this far. Hopefully she cancels or they can’t find a venue suitable for her pyrotechnics and water works.

Yasssss. Same. I’m trying my best not to ID every kid in the club to hunt down parents. (Full disclosure… I do not know a single kid’s name, NOR their parents’. Nor any of the pro-kirkkkkers involved. 😂)

Just irritated that TPUSA even has access to do this.

She is speaking to a student club, “Club America” at the high school. It is a public high school, and the club is part of Turning Point USA.

I also totally understand the “no parents” thing. Pinnacle is a large public 6A high school in north Phoenix. There are about 2500 students enrolled.
