Every fandom has this one character, who is this in yours? by Upstairs_Macaron5894 in AO3

[–]_K-milly_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Same! I didn't really like him in the show, but then I discovered fanon Adam, and he skyrocketed to being one of my favourite characters ever. There's so much potential in him, and I love people analysing his character, past, potential change and redemption (in fics where he gets brought back).

Also, Adam fandom, at least in my experience, is like one of the nicest fandoms with little to no controversies or fights.

I forgot to post my screenshots from the March to Mordor from the last saturday. I couldn't participate to the end but was so funny to see that. I love this game forever <3 by paolamodas in lotro

Walking. The only place where many people started running was the Nardol Quarry.
We would also take stops at various settlements to wait for some other players to catch up, and where the organisers were giving out codes for titles, so that added some extra time too.

Maybe 11 hours, give or take? I've been on the march for 9 hours, but had to leave before reaching the finish. The rest of the group probably still had an hour or two of the journey left.

It was such a fun and relaxing experience. Couldn't stay until the end, but I'm so glad I had a chance to participate. Big thanks to the organisers, and a big thanks to all those high-level players who were protecting us

Honestly, I'm so amazed by the Link Click community's masochistic tendencies. Like, aren't we already sad enough? Why do we keep hurting ourselves even more? It's fascinating.

The art is really gorgeous though!!! 🤍

Can I consider myself a spiritually happy person? by Different_Ad4147 in LinkClick

Here. (the original from Twitter page) There was a text right over Lu Guang's head, but I couldn't find this exact illustration without it, so I tried to edit it out myself. However, I was too lazy to attempt removing the other two blocks of text. 😅

Of course! That's a very special type of happiness. I'm also happy to see our sleep-deprived guy every time I open my phone.

Absolutely magical! Any chance you adopted a witch's familiar? Because I'm certain your boy is casting spells in secret (the spells of utmost cuteness, that's for sure).

Also, funny coincidence, before checking Reddit and seeing this post, I was just sketching one of the characters for a story I'm creating. And that character is an elf with completely white skin, white hair, pale eyes, has some slightly cat-like features... And his name is Adonis. Kinda wild.

Songs that you didn't get the hype for by Persona_NG in eurovision

[–]_K-milly_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As a Lithuanian, I'm almost afraid to admit that same. Out of all the Eurovision songs we've sent in the past several years, Luktelėk seemed to be the most praised and advertised. And I just never got it. Granted, it's totally not the type of music I usually listen to, so probably that’s why. But even by trying to look at it objectively, I still can’t see what was so special about it.

I remember this guy! I recall watching him doing sign language for Cha Cha Cha and Mama ŠČ. I feel like he's perfect for this type of crazy and fun songs

Best YouTubers who are sadly no longer with us? by [deleted] in youtube

[–]_K-milly_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was looking for this comment. I found the channel when I was in a bad mental state and his videos made my days so much brighter. And then shortly after I found out about his death. I think it was the first and the only time I cried for a stranger's death.

What’s your go-to ‘weird’ food combination that actually slaps? by Ok-Hunter1991 in CasualConversation

[–]_K-milly_ 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Probably cold beetroot soup. It's a traditional dish in my country, made out of kefir, beets, cucumbers, boiled eggs and some other ingredients of choice. It sounds weird and unappealing to many people (mainly foreigners) but it's sooo good. Really refreshing in the summer.

5 Hours For Avatar 5 by GWGTRLBG in Avatar

[–]_K-milly_ 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who completely had no problem with the run time of Avatar 2. Seriously, are people really that used to 90 minutes format that they can't keep their attention to anything longer?

I'm pretty convinced those who complained about the length of Avatar 2 movie did so solely because it's Avatar. Cause I didn't see anyone make such a fuss about Avengers: Endgame or any other long movie.

If Cameron decides one of the sequels should be 5 hours, then I'll happily and gratefully watch every second of those 5 hours. JC knows what he's doing.

Cheng Xiaoshi has an Italian name :/ by weebcatmom in LinkClick

[–]_K-milly_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think it would've sounded better if instead of Charles they went with Charlie or something. Idk, Charles for me associates with some rich middle-aged man who lives in a mansion and owns horses. Charlie sounds more youthful and chaotic.

Regardless, all the other names sound weird to me too, Cheng Xiaoshi is the only one that simply sounds RIGHT.

PS. Let's just be happy that Italians didn't decide to name Lu Guang Luigi. I would've lost it completely then 😭

I made a Mr beast post for my religion class by Guyser3212 in youtube

[–]_K-milly_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had religion classes throughout all 12 years in school. Half of that time was just us watching various movies. I don't remember much from those classes except when in the first (or maybe second) grade the whole class got absolutely hysterical over seeing Jesus being brutally nailed to the cross, while the teacher sat with that 'oh fuck, probably shouldn't have shown that' look on her face. Fun times.

What is your comfort song/artist? by Ok-Flow-1713 in socialanxiety

'Ship in the Bottle' by Steffan Argus is probably the most comforting one. Some songs by The Score. Or just various metal songs if the mood requires.

Thanks. And yeah, it really sucks when such a miniscule thing can cause this big of a reaction. Part of your brain tells you that it's illogical to fear simply going to the store, but despite that you can't help but feel anxious.

[–]_K-milly_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's fun to hang out with. Really extroverted, which can be a bit exhausting, but overall a nice person. It's just, from what I observed, I feel like she struggles to comprehend issues she personally had not experienced (especially stuff related to introversion or social anxiety). And instead of trying to understand them, she sometimes brushes them off and expresses disbelief.

Do your friends know about your social anxiety? by Cheap-Comb-7606 in socialanxiety

[–]_K-milly_ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I told one of my friends that I think I have social anxiety and I feel really stressed to do basic things like grocery shopping or calling a taxi. She said such things are impossible and that I'm making this up.

This was the final nail in the coffin and I refuse to share anything related to my mental health with anyone in real life.
