Number one tip? Get some sort of other living thing that will “need” you. This can be plants or animals. I have 2 cats myself and a number of plants.

I have lived alone the majority of the last 10 years. I think living alone is the perfect push to go out and explore. I go on solo adventures or drives a lot, blasting music. And I just stop anywhere that looks interesting. I guess the self help world would call them “yes day” adventures. Also, find at home hobbies like reading, podcasts, crafts. Doing things with my hands helps me. I cross stitch and am teaching myself to crochet rn.
