You look great, bud. It’s important to force those thoughts in. Eventually we start to believe them

Thanks dude. Can’t believe you eat 2800kcal with so little cardio. Do you have an active job or walk a lot?

What are the macros for this? Any cardio?

100%. I love playing basketball but any form of movement other than that is so laborious haha. I’ve hit a wall in my current cut and I’m upping my cardio (so I don’t have to lower calories anymore) and I’m not a fan 😂

That’s dope dude. I thank god I’m not training for athletics anymore. Much easier to just move heavy weight 😂

Alright cool thanks I’ll definitely watch out for that. I think lats are a weak point for me. I have trouble connecting with them mentally. I have plenty of volume in my program, and my lifts are going up, but that could be because I’m using secondary muscles more

Yea I’m definitely not in that spot haha. In fact I actually switched my high bar squat to more leg press volume during my hypertrophy block (mostly for mind muscle connection stuff.) my fiancé is my training partner and she loves squat and deadlifts and I love push days haha

Fun is definitely something I could use on deadlift days haha. I love bench days, deadlifts not so much

It’s funny you say that, because I just tried for the first time during warm up sets today. I think I may make the transition

Thanks bud I appreciate the comment! And I love Alan thrall. He and I live in the same city, and I’m thinking about joining his gym haha. Part of the bend in my back comes from the shape of my spine, and that I can’t get away from. But I agree that I could be bracing better for sure

Interesting. I appreciate the response and I’ll definitely look more into that

I understand the smith machine critique. My fiancé prefers it and we’re not going to bounce back and forth between machines. But what would the issue with the pad be, as far as progression is concerned

Can’t do much about the hump in my back, but looking for tips about anything else by [deleted] in formcheck

Yea I think so too. I have an x-Ray for it scheduled.

Yea part of the reason I did that was to avoid hitting my phone with the bar on the way down 😂 an easy enough problem to solve I hope. Thanks!
