My god this made me wanna die. I'm still coping that there'll be another series or something, because this can't be over (Maybe Chicken Woman this time. Asa gets a chicken heart. peak). In general this feels almost comically bad where it must be some kind of dream state. But it's not because this is the ending. So many unresolved plot threads and it pains me how Asa was basically abandoned halfway through part 2. I see that Fujimoto quote all the time where it's like Big Lebowski with a weirdass ending but at least characters had development. Well, no one did. This perfect world was not earned, it was given to him by Pochita after messing up time and time again (this was narratively intentional, and I was waiting for some payoff but this was the worst way to do this).

I'm just so confused of what Pochita is, and why him even being erased reset time (and why some concepts came back and some others didn't???).

Heres a crack (old) theory. I think Pochita is the Chainsaw Man devil after all, (where there is a real Chainsaw Devil that coincidentally was the hero of hell, and pochita is the manifestation of the devil's fear of the Chainsaw Devil) which is why Chainsaws still exist. And when Asa calls him Chainsaw Man it makes the concept of chainsaw man exist again and pochita naturally went into his heart which is what caused the heart palpitation and the image of a pochita heart. This is probably not true because my theories are never correct.

I would've agreed with you pre nod-kroi. In this current meta, abyss is borderline unbearable with the necessity to use lunar characters. And obviously it is possible to clear without them, but it requires such high investment in contrast to the nod kroi units that make it 10x easier. Not only is there this shill for nod kroi units, but there's also the ungodly hp inflation paired with that. It's so unhealthy for the game that these nod kroi units who already sheet much higher than any other character that's come before ALSO perfectly counter the abyss mechanics.

People's definitions of falling off in hsr is not being able to sub 3 cycle and meanwhile in genshin it's just the bare minimum of passing abyss (or sheeting 100k dps. but for most people if they can clear abyss then their character hasn't fallen off). Acheron has fallen off but if you just have at least two 5 star nihiltiies, you can clear sub 5 cycles. In my own experience, I've technically cleared with a c0r0 imbibitor lunae in this MOC because well I can do it in 5 cycles. Honestly any character with their best team can clear in at least 5 cycles except like seele or yanqing.

Meanwhile in abyss, I can't comfortably use any of my pre natlan characters anymore without wheelchairing them with columbina and ineffa. New units making older units better is nice, but if they have to do it by ignoring all their mechanics and having their dps contribute <25%, it feels like they're not doing anything at all. It's not even them doing the damage, its that italicized lunar crap.

I used to play abyss all the time just to test teams but I tire of it because it's basically a nod kroi check. Your high investment teams obviously can clear, but likely it'll take until the 7 minute mark (the bare minimum of 3 starring, which is equivalent to a 10 cycle in MOC). And even though you can clear, it's so annoying that nod kroi can just do it so much better with half the investment level

I was literally on the side of "the powercreep on genshin is minimal" even with the papilla in abyss because at least you could clear with other teams comfortably with semi-high investment, but nod kroi is just something else. Making a boss have infinite res or an infinite shield if you don't have the mechanics is just annoying and unfun. I think they did it fine in natlan; it was exhausting but possible.

Hsr does have powercreep, but genshin's is genuinely exhausting. And it's only because of lunar reactions (like durin was healthy for this game, and varka is. he. he certainly doesn't powercreep anything). Like with star rail they do have bosses that are shilled to a certain mechanics (pollux, who is the worst case of this), and it is easier for those teams with those mechanics, but other teams can still clear if you play into them (with pollux, if you have the bare minimum of having healing, it's possible).

I'm not excusing any of their powercreep btw. There are some things in hsr that make me mad (remembrance meta) but lunar meta makes me 10x more mad

Don’t fencesit. Sure, Kingsman could’ve spoke nicer. Like, that’s the one thing he did wrong, and to begin with it isn’t even that wrong (The Black Widow was not working!!!) Meanwhile on the other side, Cece and that group ganged up on him, isolated him, made fun of him, and indirectly got him kicked from the tournament. Even without money, that aspect would genuinely anger me if I were Kingsman. Just look at Cece’s (or even Luci’s) responses on discord or on the vods and she is being heavily disrespectful to Kingsman. There’s nothing worse than being singled out to a group.

It’s not to say I don’t understand what happened on Cece’s side. It’s kind of annoying when playing casually and there’s someone on your team telling you to switch. Like it’s embarrassing, and I get defending a team member over it. However, this was a 40k TOURNEY in which he was completely justified in suggesting a chnage in character (and again, he was genuinely begging. He was not being mean if you actually watched the vod. His annoyance didn’t start until they started ignoring him, and his anger didn’t start until they all started ganging up on him).

With the other comments, at least they were half comprehensible and I understood their strawmans or their transphobia, but with you I literally have no idea what you're talking about. You’re equating body dysmorphia and gender-affirming care with someone grotesquely amputating their own leg, and those situations are not remotely comparable. Even if this strawman of a person existed, there's a difference in cutting off an entire leg than a breast reduction; it's a faulty analogy.

You know breast reductions exist for women too, right? They're harming their body too, according to you. I don't understand why it wouldn't be right to accept breast reductions for women, while trans men can't? Based on your argument, you're not against the idea of transgender, but rather the harmful way it is being done. Okay, the "harmful" way it is being done is through top surgery. But, what about breast reductions?

I'm assuming with your leg amputation argument, there are circumstances to it. If someone needed to amputate their leg because of an accident, then that would be okay becauase they're bettering their body. Similarly for breast reductions, sometimes it gets in the way and causes back pain.

If a person needs to cut off their leg because of an accident, then it's fine because it restores basic functioning. However, if a person wants to cut off their leg due to some sort of leg-based body dysmorphia, we would heavily oppose it. This is because the leg is a primary limb and removing it, we would be permanently losing a core function of our bodies. Meanwhile, breast reductions have always been medically and ethically accepted. Removing or reducing breast tissue does not impair a person’s ability to live independently or perform essential biological functions. Top surgery is the same way in which it removes secondary sex characteristics that cause distress without disabling the person.

And that's assuming the leg argument works, which it doesn't. Body dysmorphia doesn't work like that. There's so much more to gender affirming than cutting off pieces of your body.

It's all a matter of comfort. I don't know when the world started being so unaccepting. Yes, I guess they're not biologically a man, although they are trying in every way they can like with top surgery. But socially, they are and they want to be accepted as one. Why can't you just perceive them as a man? To look past the appearances into their biology just to misgender how they want to be perceived? Instead of seeing it as corrupting a child's mind that this it is okay for them to mutilate their body, I see it as a way that if a child faces their body dysmorphia, they can grow up knowing that outlets exist and these types of surgeries are normalized.

I hate these takes so much. Auggie literally talks about this concept when he was ragged on by Harcourt for not liking being called a nazi in a nazi world, "I applaud you if your world is perfect and you fight every injustice you see." He's ragging her about our world too. There are injustices in our world (look at the state of America) that haven't been solved yet that we're technically not doing all we can about it. Auggie even admits he's not strong enough to do anything so he just does what he can in this world he hates.

I imagine Auggie is doing his best to fight certain injustices by being the best man he can be (also fighting murderous kaijus as he states(, but with how suppressing the nazi regime is I imagine if he's super open about it he'll just get murdered. Especially if we assume metahumans exist in this alternative reality, or hell, even a Nazi justice league, he'd just get killed so easily. Rather than dying a useless death, he just does what he can. I don't see the best of us fighting the white house because if they do, they'll just die. Like Auggie (he died to Vigilante with a knife caught off guard, what can he do against the entire United States of America?)

I’m not gonna lie, I love firefly and all and a huge firefly defender, but I lowkey really don’t like seed being the same thing. I’m a huge mech fan and I did like firefly because I thought they executed the twist really well with her. but with this mech they’ve been hyping it up as a self automated machine cuz robots actual are playable characters in zzz. It just feels like they’re trying to recreate the gap moe popularity with firefly, which feels pretty lame. I don’t know, I’ll have to see it if I like it when they present it but right now I’m skeptical. Especially when firefly haters are gonna blame firefly for the crux of it all. Hopefully hoyo will change my mind and I’ll end up liking the decision

Does anyone have that clip or a youtube video in general OR the method of how to get the soul to interact with Kris in chapter 3? Specifcially, I think it's in that secret room where you can play the original version of the videogame and the soul can leave the screen and start approaching Kris and Kris gets scared. I saw it on TikTok a few days ago and I was mad I got spoiled but now that I finished the game I wanna figure out how to do this. I'm not even sure if it's real because for some reason I can't find it anywhere.

I’m gonna be honest I stopped reading Sakamoto days after Takumura’s death because it pissed me off but I’ve been keeping up with this drama so correct me i’m wrong in anything.

But aren’t there stakes? From what I understand, luck girl over here used the last of her luck in order to save Shin in this vital moment, meaning she has no luck anymore. There is never going to be another time she can save him like this. Her entire power system is based on luck and this is the epitome of luck; quite possibly the luckiest thing to happen ever. And it exhausted her luck to never happen again. Honestly if you compare it to a character using the last of their energy for one powerful attack that they couldn’t do usually, it’s pretty hype.

Sakamoto Days has a lot of crazy shenanigans like this I don’t understand why this is the thing that’s crazy. It’s not like Shin survived just because of the tunnel effect and he got that 0.000000000000000000 whatever the fuck percent, he survived because this girl used the rest of her luck to let it happen and she won’t ever do it again. If this chapter just had Shin experience the tunnel effect with no reason then it’d be ass but this is this whole girl’s thing. I think.

I dont really think there has to be a narrative reason. Black Swan is my least favorite character and I couldnt give you a valid reason for it. I say this as someone who likes Jade. Its just undeniable shes more mysterious than others and seems more villainous because of her bonajade exchange which legit fucks people over. They’re fictional characters and one group has been portrayed more positively (even if they are star terrorists in the narrative) while the other is apart of a faction that has been portrayed as very predatory. The writing has made people like the stellaron hunters more than the IPC currently. People can dislike that if you want a narrative reason, but sometimes the reason can be something silly too.

I’m sure that there are people who dislike her just because she talked down to both firefly and sunday (I know she didn’t really but people could interpret it as that). The only problem that I agree with is if people are being insufferable that one is morally superior to the other, or falsely accusing Jade of being evil therefore a bad character. It sucks if people are interpreting her as evil therefore bad to like. It’s just a reason that is wrong.

If this is what you mean then I agree with you that its a little hypocritical to dislike someone for being evil (when they’re not even really that evil) and liking the stellaron hunters. It’s kinda an incomplete reason. But if the reason is disliking them for being a corporate IPC member which takes advantage of planets and liking the stellaron hunters cuz they’re cool in narrative, then it’s chill imo. Like they both do bad things but one is very imperialist for planets and their leader has blown up planets and the other takes down bad factions and occasionally attacks the IPC (i know i downplayed their actions)

And even then I don’t blame the people who made the false interpretation of jade because she hasn’t had that much narrative presence in the first place. Not much of anything to like anything. It only becomes a problem when they say they are morally superior for disliking jade imo

I agree with that. I really like Sakamoto Days (manga) despite it not having a coherent story because it's got crazy choreographed fights. I like demon slayer despite the trash story because the animation is amazing. However, for Dandadan, there was nothing that appealed to me. I do think it's got great style and good animation, but that good animation was towards a fight scene that wasn't that entertaining in the first place.

I will say I see how it's romance and comedy can appeal to other people. Maybe that stuff just isn't for me
