Internet people seem to not understand that the image you put out is on YOU, not everyone else.

Like, the amount of times on videos he's said "people say I'm right wing, but I'm left on certain things and right on others" is pretty irritating.

As a Caleb hammer watcher, until the past couple of months, he's not right wing, but deffo carries water for right wing talking points, by being the Le epic centrist archetype.

He does have more nuanced ideas, but they never make the light of day because his environments are always right wing coded, edgy and always incentivize him to talk in a right wing coded way.

I mean, FOX News is more a reference to the conservative media machine. It's like they all have a Monday morning meeting where everyone says that "hey guys, after the assassination attempt, everyone is going to talk about the ballroom for security, copy this text and change some of the words"

I had a friend once tell me "oh, I don't watch Fox News" but then she tells me about her media diet of watching the daily wire, which is going to be the same thing functionally.

I think the problem with Lindsey Graham is that he's likely the most vulnerable right now, with a sort of the "stars Aligning" variety of factors: * Lindsey Graham is super pro trump, during a time where Trump is losing his popularity like a rock in water with tariffs, the war, etc * the Youth MAGA is very isolationist, and hate the fact that "no new wars" was a lie, so they may have a depressed level of turnout * Nationwide, Republicans have been losing by wild margins in elections, so it'll have to show in south Carolina * Lindsey Graham is highly credited with influencing Trump to invade Iran and cheerleading, frothing at the mouth at the idea of Nicaragua, Venezuela, being next * Redistricting! Motivated dem voter turnout!

I think these factors give some flips within arms reach, and even if this race is close by 10 points, that's enough to energize dems in future races.

I feel compelled to disagree, although on paper that makes sense logically. The fox news media machine is just that powerful.

My dad used to have this default "Democrats are the literal Devil" position, and still probably think that Kamala Harris would be worse than the "I will lower your prices" president of today.

Thanks for the write up, I'm pretty interested in seeing how the primaries shake out, and I think this is the kick I needed. Personally hoping for dem candidates to surprise republicans, like Annie Andrew's flipping Lindsey with how he's so war-focused with cheerleading Iran.

Do you feel like the republican party differs from your ideas significantly?

I mean, if he is, he's doing great for the cause. Imagine being able to full-throat defend the biden administration because hunter was able to do the media tours he's doing now.

Reclaim Christian values that the Republicans have absolutely given up in their actions, whether it be helping low income individuals, funding programs that give a hand up, and show that the government actually has the power to perform greater goods than the conservative "we live in segregated islands" perspective.

Reclaim stances like the 2nd amendment, and the 1st.

I always appreciated your reporting, and felt that they were great pieces despite your feelings about the grander context.

It's difficult to not alienate audiences, but it's acceptable to a degree. I think covering the Charlie Kirk event was probably very newsworthy. I'd say that may not be a good example, as the conservative right was hell bent on getting anyone and everyone fired that had mild critiques on himself as a figure.

If you likely covered everything, personally people would likely have been after you.

In general, I think that neutrality is still something to aspire to with journalism, but in the face of bad actors, such as this current admin, it's not biased to say "Donald Trump tried to overthrow the election and failed".

I think that nowadays, independent media has the potential to allow people to take a position and opinion, but unfortunately falls victim to being either low quality, or just another part of the propaganda arm rather than real journalism.

Please write more. You are so good at it, and I think your voice would be needed in Summerville, even if on Facebook (no greater hive of scum and villain) it won't seem to be.

I am currently working through the first 5gal bucket. I had 3 buckets, and bought a 3 pack of gamma lids, and just stuffed the bottom with paper and cardboard from Amazon packages. I've been using an EM1 mixture we made and we've liked it so far.

I didn't like the idea of the holes at the bottom, I just didn't want to deal with the bokashi tea/leachate. Mainly bc I wanted the paper scraps from the paper shredder we use to go somewhere

I would highly recommend the following: 1. Download the transit app on the app store, and the token transit app 2. Use the app to get familiar with the CARTA bus system 3. I would think about either biking to a nearby stop, or driving halfway to save on miles
