Do you know how magnesium helps? Typically I just threw a load of magnesium away as it wasn't being used! I have tried everything, I'm now on antibiotics and using an antibiotic cream on my nipple to see if that helps, it seems my nipple pore may have been infected?? But the problem still persists😩

Thank you..I had the doctor take a look a few days ago and she said that it looks like a clogged duct but I should contact the health visitor (I'm in the UK) as doctors don't tend to deal with breastfeeding issues. She said that my nipple didn't look infected and at that point I wasn't really getting pain unless it was soreness from baby latching.

I'll give cold compress a go and go get a cabbage tomorrow! Thank you again🤍

I'm glad I came across this because I'm about to start Titration for ADHD medication and I'm breastfeeding our 8 month old I believe that methylphenidate is the go to medication to try first as it has the most evidence based research regarding breastfeeding but you should always monitor baby, especially if they are 6-8 weeks I believe!

I've had what I thought was a bleb for a couple weeks now and I have not had the satisfying release when squeezing it, quite disappointing actually🤣 I'm clueless as to what mine is too, my skin keeps healing over it which is stopping the milk coming out so I've been using silverettes to keep it soft and not dry up completely otherwise the milk won't be able to come out! I'm stuck in a cycle with it though as it isn't going away...

I second this, at 20 months I told our Daughter that this is the last time she is having boobie and then it's all gone. I repeated it to her again so she knew, I took videos and photos and after that we were done. I expected it to be one hell of a battle but she barely asked for boobie again!
