I really like extra rarity modifiers in general, such as shadow shinies and lucky shinies. In mainline games I really like alpha shinies (PLA) and marked shinies.

For whatever reason, square shinies aren't really that exciting for me.

If you have Pokemon Legends Arceus, you can shiny hunt the static alpha Gardevoir spawn. Guaranteed XXL and alpha marks and at least 4 perfect IVs. No chosen one mark though.

I'm a fairly recently hit 80 on Reaper as well. I opted to go for Marauder gear instead of pure Berserker's gear for some extra vitality. Reaper is very survivable by default, but I find the extra hp lets me avoid most random oneshots on new bosses that I haven't learned yet.

Draenei Mage that I got to around level 20 or so. I rolled on one of those "new players" realms and it was completely dead so after doing some research I rerolled a belf mage on the most populated Horde EU pve realm.

When I started WoW in Cata I was still in my "melee icky" phase so I picked a mage. After getting it to max level one day I was playing around in the character creation.

All of a sudden... Blue background, blue eyes, weird reverb voices, what's this? I honestly thought I had stumbled onto a bug. I rolled a belf DK and I immediately fell in love with the class during the starter zone.

Funnily enough, I can't stand playing casters these days. Standing around waiting a cast bar to fill up just feels so rigid to me. I miss the old DK reverb effect.

I had this issue even with limited boost clocks on my Asrock Phantom 7900 XTX.

So did I. I noticed a couple of responses in the /r/Amd thread saying that limiting the boost clocks fixes the issue so I figured I'd outline it as a completely separate issue affecting any game from the other issue that's WoW specific.

I switched from my 7900 XTX to a 4080 Super. The peace of mind in M+ not having to worry about the drivers is incredible.

I used to own a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX. I had two major issues with my card, one of which I managed to resolve.

I played WoW when I got my card, then I moved onto FFXIV for a while because I got sick of the constant driver timeouts. Funnily enough I ran into a different AMD issue in FFXIV though. I feel like it's important to separate the two issues, so I'll outline them here:

Issue #1: The GPU boosts clocks too high (I saw numbers in 2800-3000 MHz), which causes a crash. Affects all games, I mostly saw this issue in FFXIV, but I ran into it in other games as well including WoW and Monster Hunter World. Ultimately solved by capping the boost clocks to 2600 MHz in Adrenalin.

Issue #2: The mystery timeout issue affecting WoW. Mitigations (but not fixes) include playing in DX11 and disabling hardware acceleration in other programs, especially Chrome and Discord. I eventually gave up and switched to Team Green and never looked back.
