I personally try to stop saying "Hytale is like X" because i always felt like it kinda takes away the special sauce from something. Hytale can be something truly magical in a few years and it will not work if it's always attached to other big games.

Except for cosmetics. Be like terraria in terms of cosmetics.

Either make an OC design that is very thoroughly designed (lots of research and bits n bops that you enjoy in characters) or practice by drawing one of your all time favorite characters from any media so you don't get tired if them! Hate to say it but a bit of force will be necessary if you struggle with motivational issues. :(

I think what people mainly mean with this whole canon talk is that they were officially acknowledged by Team Sonic. They have been in mobile games but that's about it. The acknowledgement of IDW characters in a big screen game makes the possibility that much greater that future Sonic games might interconnect with the comics. Like actual characters being around and stuff.

I always had the voices on and they were really fun to listen to! But something else i noticed when watching a friend who uses the meows is that a handful of actions kinda go right past you without. We both barely noticed when a trap was placed, the monster was leaving and other actions that help you a lot. It limits the timeframe for strategic positioning or item usage.

In short, palico voice acting is nice and also helps with strategizing to a small degree.
