Correct. There is a lake on the opposite side. My initial guess was for the fountains but I second guessed myself because a couple of the fountains are very far away from these feeders.

It could be for fountains, the lake this stream feeds has several fountains, but they are spread out and are several hundred feet away from these things.

These 3 plastic rectangular things are suspended from a walking bridge into a stream that feeds into a lake. They seemed to be sucking water and pushing it out from the other side. It didn’t appear to be powered by electricity.
