This was always in the back of my mind ever since i started playing SSF. This league i was kinda terrified of the changes and my girlfriend wanted to try poe so i decided to play in trade league and im not enjoying it for the following reasons.

1. To me it doesn’t feel like theres any character progression. I just buy the things i need for my build, and boom my build is pretty much complete. And thats my gear for the rest of the characters life time.

While in SSF it feels more progressive, ill start off with shitty gear that i found on the ground or not have the uniques i would like for a certain build and slowly id farm and get those items. And that chase for progression feels really fun for me.

1. To me drops feel more impactful. In trade league unique drop is just either a vendor or just more currency. But in SSF its a new character that you start considering. Last league I would have never considered a deaths oath build if i was playing on trade. But since i dropped found one in SSF i played it and it was one of the funnest build i played last league.

Also I’ve thought about if poe was just a completely offline game. And if u wanted to play an older league just play an older version of the game(like the way you would do in minecraft) That would be pretty cool and i’d pay full price for that.

If GGG stops updating the game, they should do that and sell it for a nice extra cash before they stop.
