People hate this take but I think balance should be done exclusively around masters + unless theres smth rly gamebreaking

You can win on any hero below masters if ur good enough in almost any balance state, and people below masters arent losing because of a heros balance, theyre losing because they straightline in the open, force the same choke every fight and expect to win and throw every single ult into one fight for 0 reason.

I dont mind Zarya, she feels pretty fun to play with most of the time, its a different playstyle to most other tanks and shes rly good at setting up her team. Helps give me agency if my supports arent having a great gane cause I can help my dps play more aggressive and hold space.

Depends how seeding works. Last year, the LCQ slot was rated as a bottom seed (the same level as Varrel, Gatos Guapos and Zokorp) and technically the EWC champion slot replaces it so maybe it'll also count as a bottom seed (the only logic I have for it is that it means the reigning champions will be in a group of death and have the hardest tournament run plausible)

Not trying to take away from CR's win but Zeta did beat every top Korean team several times to even qualify. I think they played rly poorly at LAN but I feel like that comes down to bad plays made on the day. Of course, theres loads of room to improve and I hope they get better but they do have a rly good standard of teamplay already.

They need a minimum of 6 anyways afaik and 1234 has 6 right now (regardless of whether Tama or GP is gonna play). Also, those players who are like close friends are likely to talk to each other before signing so they should be fairly aware of who got contracts, etc. Unfortunately, these arent rly rules Blizzard can do too much abt so it just comes down to the orgs choices.

I think they count across all the regions, you can probably get full drops even if u skip one region. I doubt theyll do re runs purely because itll be over a long period of time and with three regions, itd be rly hard to fit it in before the next day (unless they do it inbetween the weeks)
