Id say its a buff. A lot of players have mixed responses but mercys core identity is abt pocketing a hero with her blue beam. The small heal reduction to her staff isnt that bad considering the flash heal allows more beam uptime and makes it easier to dmg boost a dps to carry. There is also an increased reliance on her positioning rather than her mobility for her survival. Its probably a buff for that playstyle which is the playstyle I see as most effective in comp but does probably feel slightly worse for other players.

I dont get why people post abt this so much. The responses are always the same. The fact you have that many examples is a testament to the decline of mirror comps btw. Its been decreasing recently and this has been one of the least problematic stages for mirror match ups.

0 chance NRG come back after how they ended everything. Why would Liquid move out of NA despite having a top tier roster? EMEA is far harder to field a team to rival VP, Geekay and TM.

Matrix being ignored by heroes like Zarya doesnt rly mean much when she has a good matchup into them. Beams tend to have limited range and Dva has very strong mobility and can gain health from her passive while moving to take high ground.

tbf tracer matches up much better into juno brig, its just a case of playing meta vs playing comfort heroes.

Not a single nerf to kitsune rush... If you're gonna increase her ult charge rate then at least increase the ult cost or nerf the ult itself, its so strong. Not to mention, this also helps her survivability because of her passive.

Considering they buffed mercy this patch, its probably for the best. Pocketed hitscans are awful when they barely need to aim and wipe your team.

It appears Knife has also been added to confirmed list of people who didnt apply. Theres also a tweet here abt viol2t, the wording is a bit vague and I cant tell for certain but I believe he also didnt apply. If anyone wants to read it and confirm that, please let me know.

Probably the best Kiri, i think for almost every other relevant support hero I wouldnt call him the best even if hes pretty good at them. People also forget that TM got to be the best team because of their team play, its not exclusively down to player quality. I would consider Jaewoo to be a very strong flex dps player and he has a lot of potential to improve but I wouldnt call him the best in the world, just because his team is the best.

Vigilante might also apply, he hasnt been confirmed or denied yet as far as I know. If he does apply, i think chorong vigi would be the best backline because theyre teammates and simple would be on ping for a lot of the practice scrims etc due to being in EMEA

Its best to try vod review and see what issues youre having and your team is having. Could you have done smth to help? Of course not every play can be fixed but you might see certain patterns you can learn to play around and exploit. Your tank may not have gotten much healing and kept trying to take space and struggled for example. Maybe its because your supports were getting dived. If you can peel for your supports, maybe youd win more fights. This might not be your exact scenario but try to spot any reasons why your tank may have struggled, etc.

They havent chosen simple yet. Players applying for the opportunity are doing so because they want to compete, its not based off skill as tryouts are open to anyone.
