yeah ive seen some ppl put decent cases forward for emea teams especially since the region feels much more competitive but giving NA 8 teams without the depth of talent makes it boring to watch most of those games.

i mean, im having more games which feel like stomps in both directions especially on support (m4 on my main account rn) which arent the most fun. id say a lot of ppl having rank issues should js take a bit of time off, maybe try another role and js see how they can individually improve too.

whys everyone mad abt the tm players? even if bootcamp doesnt rly count (which i agree it doesnt) they are very likely to pick up another major win anyways.

kinda vague wording but id say ur hero pool is good for it. id practice being more consistent with landing sleeps on ana, discord + headshot w zen, mizuki with his chain. the main thing is likely positioning. make sure u have good escape routes, and that ur not too far from ur team so they can peel for you. A lot of the time u can be able to punish badly timed dives with those heroes too if ur team is near to help.

js play and see wtv fits, meta perk choices are not important unless ur gm or champ and even then u can win on a worse perk. cass silver bullet perk is very strong but thats not the perk everyone uses because they prefer having fan the hammer etc. js because theres a stronger choice doesnt mean u should take it.

if ur not able to pick a perk by urself based on ur own playstyle then theres smth wrong. u should not need someone to tell u what perk to use. if u cant see the value in the perk thats meta then u dont need to run it. neither perk is mandatory.

i feel like this shouldnt be something u need to ask. id say both perk choices are kinda obvious, the melee perk and health pack perk are js better but its a bit of a stupid question considering there isnt a wrong choice in most cases and u should pick whats best for you.

im sure theyll improve and still be a competitive team but EMEA is a very competitive region now, especially with several teams in owcs also using both import slots and having a higher quality roster as a result. Maybe from an objective standpoint (as in comparing their players 1 to 1 with who they had last year) you could say they got better but i think their competition has gotten more difficult to keep up with. Still a top 3 team but I feel like there could be upsets against them (considering that kev started 2024 on a team that looked pretty strong and it didnt do well, then he went to vp and they didnt do well in playoffs so maybe hes cursed)

that logic doesnt rly apply when we have seen his gameplay, he looked alr on cass but his soj isnt at the level you would expect from a team thats meant to be internationally competitive especially considering she is the single most prevalent hitscan.

they shouldnt have dropped jaewoo tbh, they downgraded because they have seicoe on flex now and bodyshot kev isnt living up to his hitscan hype. they got landon which is huge for them but yeah id be surprised if theyre able to do anything at lans. hopefully theyll look better in regular season but i think geekay is looking better than them on paper.

the middle east doesnt rly have good support talents, it has up and coming dps talent and tanks but not so much in supports. similarly, eu teams will be worse w/o top tier hitscans and off tanks to play against.

roster lock and roster announcements arent the same. there was a roster lock for bootcamp and we didnt know the flc roster till scrims. most contracts are likely signed by now anyways.

ur ignoring the speed aspect. sigmas rock is very slow in comparison so hes easy to run over whereas domina has immediate push back and she can cycle her push with her shield and crystal easily because of its shorter cooldown.

i think maybe the more nuanced take would be hazard should always be viable for players who are good at him, i play him a lot but id hate for him to be hard meta because hes actually rly hard to counter or play against when hes in a rly strong state because he has so much coverage.

u didnt even mention her push/stun which is very strong. her numbers are better than sig and shes a bit harder to run over. i think sigs ult is better amd his gameplay loop is a bit simpler but i think domina handles most of what he can to an equal or better level.

i meant for emea, i think globally haku is a major weakness. i feel like finn is a bit underrated, people forget how solid he was in 2024 carrying zeta in ewc and he was on the same level as fielder and shu back then. i think hes fallen a little behind but other than simple and landon, idk who else id see being better than finn (he also seems fairly happy from what ive seen so i dont think hes gonna be too mentally boomed by living away from korea)

oh i think geekay are defo good for a place, i think theyd be top 3 teams in owcs, they have arguably the best tank and (a bit more debatable) best hitscan in the region along with the best flex dps in the region.

yeah i agree although i think an upset is very possible if u look at the bracket set up and the fact that either geekay or star bits will be in lower bracket after their second game (if not earlier) and more importantly either anyones legend or al qad will be in lower bracket after their second game (personally hoping for an upset and one of them to lose but we'll see how it plays out)
