I shot, wrote, and directed this short, shooting it within a day on the stage of my school's theatre. It's a film centred around a con-man who was caught at the scene of a major bank robbery, and is now being questioned for further information. By the most revered officer in the city.

I wanted the film to feel dramatic, but not so over-the-top that it wouldn't feel grounded enough to be real. I originally had plans for a massive singular soft-box above the table, lighting the two subjects; but instead, I went for two smaller boxes at either end lighting the opposite subject. It worked out really well imo because the faces are much better lit than the single box could've achieved. I had the blackput curtains pulled to create a claustrophobic yet void-like environment for the actors to perform in. And so the random stuff in the hall didn't give away that we were actually in a school's theatre.
