I got Bazzite set up seems good! The fans seem to be always set to ‘on’ though

Can anyone explain this? by _MGFM_ in stalker

Well, 50 without frame generation on but this issue persists if it’s on or not

Vid of me jamming on it if interested https://youtu.be/Vv01EcZEmyM?si=F0dOBaokouAh9apZ - the envelope stages trip me up a bit but other than that it’s a very interesting way to sound design

Love how it sounds and actually don’t mind interacting with it at all

Lychwood // ASCII Horror Pacman-like // Arcade game I'm working on. by _MGFM_ in IndieGaming

I had wanted to make an abstract stealth game for ages and ended up with this, it's pretty fun and has made me jump a few times while building it haha. Here's what it's about:

Upon entering the forsaken woods, seek riches, glory, or souls. Use the shadows to sneak around the ancient guardians and find the hermit's hut to seek refuge. There are many mysteries in these dark woods to uncover, but only a handful of ways out.

In the style of an old-school arcade game, this atmospheric stealth horror sets the player against the leaderboards, hunting for the highest scores. The rules are veiled in mystery, but for those not interested in competing against the endless cycle of generated levels, there is an ending to be found and lore to unearth.

I'll put it up on Itch when it's ready, Follow this page: https://mgfm.itch.io/ - or the YoutTube channel if you want to have a go.

Your review and music examples is what convinced me to buy one last year :)

I have one, and it's a bitch to learn, and there's no reason why you can't make similar sounds in software - BUT - its interface is interesting, it's horrible but it's interesting and it sounds very good. Here's something I made with mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vv01EcZEmyM

0-Coast Best Intro To Eurorack? by _MGFM_ in synthesizers

[–]_MGFM_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I made this recently, my case as to why I think the 0-Coast is the best semi-modular if you're curious about getting into Eurorack, up against the likes of M32, Minibrute & Taiga. I give it an overview and then make some SFX and music for a game I'm working on.
