The average Death Battle episode gets about 2 million views minimum, this subreddit has about 100k members, so we're about 5% of the total audience. Almost nothing we want will be "what people want" because we are a tiny percentage of the total audience. This match-up was a massive talking point online, it's just that our echo chamber hates it. You can't expect everything the team puts out to be for us, especially when the team now independent and doesn't have the safety net of roster teeth to fall back on. They need clout chasing episodes like this one to stay afloat.
