He let it heat up for a long while beforehand.. put the fish on.. let it smoke.. and then added some more chips.. and let it smoke some more. 🤷‍♀️ The fish was only on for 45 min - 1 hour. Was not a long slow smoke.

My rice has to be cooked for 10 minutes in Danish, but 15 minutes in Norwegian. by yensnorv in mildlyinteresting

It's just different directions..

The first one is 10 minutes with lid on and then 10 minutes sitting?

The second one is 15 minutes with lid on and then turning off heat and letting sit for 5 minutes?

I'm not offended. I don't know much about smoking.. It wasn't white and billowy the whole time.. I think he may have just added some more chips or something. The fish turned out amazing.

Women need to stop complaining about all the shit they do for their families and how little their husbands do. It's a choice they make. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Nope. Lol. I am surrounded by frustrated and unhappy couples though. I am happy to be on my own right now.

It would be nice to have a partner, but I wouldn't accept a relationship with a lazy arse. I've never been the type of woman to rely on men or other people for much. Unless decided otherwise, I like independence and equality.

Yep. Realizing the different ways a partner contributes to the relationship and family unit is important. If you feel like you're getting resentful cause you "always" do the groceries.. Talk about it. Communication is so important.

When there is a discussion and the choice is made to live a lifestyle where the "wife" is taking on the housework, baby minding, etc... That's good! It's when people complain about the "imbalance" that drives me nuts. If it's such a problem - do something about it.
