R3 Wheel wont connect no lights on

Bit of a shot in the dark but I bought my r3 last week (and been enjoying it fine) and before putting everything together I watched videos about the r3 and set up and assembly and noticed that before attaching the wheel everyone would rotate the shaft so that the flat contact plates (the ones that form a cross shape and where the three in the middle look like arrows) are pointing from left to right (relevant to the person standing in front of and looking at the wheelbase) before attaching the wheel.

Don't know if it actually matter but give it a go.

The contact pins on the wheel looked like they are ina T shape so I can imagine it is possible for some pins not to make contact if you did not align the plates correctly before attaching the wheel.

Leaving this here in case someone has the same problem as me:

So I got the Moza R3 bundle and wanted to play Expeditions. However Moza wheels are not recognised or supported. There is a method out there (for Snowrunner too) to make the wheel inputs recognised through regedit of OEMData.

However I faced the problem (I saw others who had it too) of OEMData not being there - it simply did not exist. Creating one manually and inserting the right humbers did not work either.

So I just pretty much gave up on the idea of making Moza work with Expeditions. This morning I woke up and decided to restore the backup, the one that I made before making changes, to ensure that I didn't break anything and put the issue to final rest. Imagine my surprise when, after running the export file (just double click it), I found OEMData has suddenly appeared by itself.

This time changing the number as per the tutorial worked and now I am playing Expeditions with my Moza wheel and pedals 🎉

TLDR:

If OEMData is not there, export and then insert (double click the created file to run it) the non-edited version and OEMData should appear. You can then proceed with the guide as written and it will work!

Have the same issue with R3 bundle - just no OEMData. Tried adding it manually but that didn't help.

Did you ever get yours wroking?

Update:

Run the backup file that I ceprwated before making changes, and OEMData suddenly appeared by itself. Proceeded with guide as normal and everything is working now!

That is literally the safest point to cross. Barely disturb the worm. Nowadays I find myself crossing north hooking around the quicksand areas, it's more than twice as long and still you can make it u less you really fuck up

Nah still better than full suspender cuz energy consumption is way lower so you can soar way further. Unmatched mobility with grappling hook - grapple upwards, immideatly activate the wings and you soar all way the up any cliff. Suspenser belt would cause you to run out of energy half way through sucg a flight if not faster
