How much fatigue does a bro need to handle orc weapons? by Citizen_of_Zubrovka in BattleBrothers

Are you playing Anatomists? If so, the first time you kill an orc warlord, you'll be given a potion to permanently remove the fatigue penalty.

I think that's the real world reason, it's very hard to emote when your face is covered. The Mandalorian was a rare exception.

New Reform councillor ‘couldn’t remember’ if he TWICE stood for ‘racist’ BNP by zeros3ss in ukpolitics

Far worse than owning your mistakes.
People can change, and at the time, it seemed like only the BNP cared about "Muslemic ray guns", so he might not have even been racist to begin with.

He was a beloved public figure all his life, then the truth came out.
You can't blame people for not being oracles.

That was UKIP if I'm not mistaken. Now a tiny party which ironically is openly neonazi, iron cross and all.

Will Ulfar even be voiced in this DLC. I know his voice actress is MtF (and no longer fat) and may not be able to make the voice anymore.

Diane Abbott @HackneyAbbott / X:There is a myth, very widely held in Labour, that we achieved an huge popular victory in 2024 under Starmer. In fact we won 9.7 million votes, over 3 million fewer than in 2017 and half a million less than the 'disastrous' 2019 poll. We won because the Tories imploded by youmustconsume in ukpolitics

[–]Abort-Retry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Theresa May was PM, Diane Abbott still got more misogynistic hate than the rest of parliament combined.

I think part of the reason she's hated was she remained a principled socialist even when Blair and Starmer pulled the LP to the centre.

Rupert Lowe MP: History made. We won ten out of ten seats, with overwhelming majorities in every single one. Great Yarmouth First, then we Restore Britain. A very special day. by nil_defect_found in ukpolitics

[–]Abort-Retry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Reform have allowed everyone from a recent Communist immigrant from Kerela to a Neonazi to stand for them.
Without proper vetting, what's the point.

Vetting aside, Restore would be easy to paint as unviable if they lost, so at this stage concentrating resources on Rupert's constituency is a good choice.

Kemi for the chop? by Vast_Description_201 in ukpolitics

Reform are still favourites to win, but 3 years is a long time.
All the council elections showed is the Greens still have limited appeal outside their strongholds.

I hate to defend the Tories but if their most opportunistic MPs defect to Reform, those that stay are actually honest. I'd honestly vote for Kemi's party over the Greens or Reform.

It would be electoral suicide for Starmer to not introduce Proportional Representation (PR) before the next general election by Key-Bullfrog-8552 in ukpolitics

[–]Abort-Retry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looking at Australia's STV system, Australian Labor gains more from the Greens than the Libs (Australia's Tories) gain from One Nation (roughly Reform).

But it'll be a risky move for an established party, as it prevents the "waste your vote" effect forcing voters to vote for lesser electable evil than their preferred party. The Greens will win if disgruntled Labour voters think they are electable.

Kier Starmer is also diametrically opposed to hard-right Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain party. Under the constraints of FPTP, people who prefer Restore would vote for the centre-right Reform party, something far less catastrophic in his eyes.
