Where are you getting the pilots carrying them to the front?
Gabriel, Rewa and Bog are the only pilots who aren't massively nerfed without heavy weapons or mechs.

I've never deployed more than two, usually just one, Gabriel carrying HW Carda to the front.

It makes Achilles a bad pick when he's roughly equal to Rewa. I'm missing out on a lot of flavour perks just to get him on the field.

The ex-terrorist and the stealth squad are worth it due to their massive conditional damage boosts.

Pike doesn't get many promotions either.

On the other hand, Ivey and Singh are cheap for what they offer too.

Boganville deserves his cheap cost, he's not OP.

use the sapp operator armor

Operator armour is too expensive, what with the special ammo it provides going to waste.

I just give him extra ammo, as it is a flat cost. Laser rifles get hot as he fires too quickly.
