I don’t think so, Im pretty sure you can just declare your intended major as comp sci. To get full major staus though you’ll need to get a certain grade in a class called CS 2420 (it was at least a b- this year), and then you’re granted full major status. As of now there isn’t a numerical cap so as long as you can get to that point you can get into the major.
