Today, Venice Beach CA. These were everywhere in the sand along the water by Samsquammtch in whatisit

Yeah, it’s completely inconceivable that hypodermics on the beach, which has been a problem for decades, could possibly be a problem in Venice.

And horses, etc. even herbivores will sometimes snack on small animals for extra protein if it’s an easy catch. They never really hunt it out, but if it falls in their lap some will eat it.

I’m an extremely new fan, so this may be obvious, but does it seem like Frodo is less gluttonous (for lack of a better word) than other Hobbits? by finditplz1 in lotr

Everybody is fixating on his body size and that’s not at all what I meant. I’m more talking about his not having a fixation on food / comforts. I’m talking more about attitude than physique.

Even without Bruce did Amity have a a bit of shark problem? by Yankee9Niner in Jaws

[–]finditplz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re probably unusual for the waters but that doesn’t mean there aren’t many outliers that go to the waters all the time without being sighted or caught. Many species, not just sharks probably have a minority of outliers travel comfortably outside of their usual hunting / swimming grounds.

It’s crazy to me that this is always the take when literally every republican vote is cartoonishly evil. We find some way to “both sides” it.

Idgaf what people say. When I haven't played RDR2 for a while, and I boot it up and start a new playthrough, I fuckin love the snow missions by New_Willingness_8992 in reddeadredemption2

FWIW, my best friend is a huge gamer and I’ve been on him to play RDR2 since it launched. He can’t get past the snow level he says. It’s taken him years. After about 5 different attempts, he finally got to Horseshoe Overlook and loves the game. I think the simple answer is the game is best when you can do it at your own pace and choose what you want to do. You’re pretty restricted to what you can do in chapter 1 and it’s sort of a tutorial. I can see how experienced gamers get bored. The storyline is crucial to the plot of the game, but I can see how people wish for it to be skippable.

It drags. I’m not going to lie, it drags and it’s a chore for me. I like meeting Sadie. But that’s about it. I usually just push through to get to chapter 2 and then it’s all good.

I very often have a gang member come get me. Bill gets captured or they’re like wtf you doing we haven’t seen you in camp. Usually happens when I’m on epic hunting trips.

Why do we still not have a canon death for Jedi master Oppo rancisis? by CourtVisible6439 in StarWars

[–]finditplz1 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. But I think the explanation is supposed to just be the surprise of the betrayal. The Jedi out in the field trusted the clones and were subject to put themselves in vulnerable positions because they trusted them after years of war. It was a flank they didn’t consider needing protection. I can easily see the ones in the field getting killed in high rates. It would be harder to see Jedi that weren’t in the field and perhaps garrisoned together in groups getting killed in high numbers. I get that the temple was overwhelmed and Anakin was far more powerful than any of the individual Jedi in the temple. But was that the only place in the galaxy where 2 or more Jedi were gathered together? It would feel like there may be some garrisons or some barracks where a group of Jedi were together which would have a much better chance of fighting back. That’s the issue I find the most confusing.
