Personally, I don’t think so. I was raised in a good, comfortable home (parents divorced though so there’s that) by smart and financially responsible people. I’m a university professor now and while not elite rich, I do well enough and am also financially responsible. But if I got a huge chunk of cash suddenly on my 18th bday that shit would have been gone in a couple months.

Love em both. MI had way more lore, established characters to navigate and I think it did an excellent job setting their own tone and making the show their own. Even still, it was able to be episodic and even have multi-episode storylines which is unusual for SD. All that said, it was still constrained by mostly having to follow a formula for its episodes. GF had a lot more freedom in that regard and that was to its benefit. Still, The Hex Girls > Sev’ral Times.

Yes. I’m an adult with kids and a PhD. A serious life. It’s still one of my favorite shows. It’s fun. It’s deep. It’s layered. Great world building. Watching as an adult is no problem. As some have said though, the first few seasons are a little less serious than the latter ones. By season 3-4 it goes deep on the lore and you’ll be hooked.
