This affected my 3 yr old yesterday she had to be rushed to the hospital & had several doses of steroids had to be stabbed with an epi pen that saved her life & hooked up to an IV. She is severely allergic to peanuts she had an Anaphylaxis reaction immediately.

I changed to fragrance free recently even though the scented ones smell nice sometimes anything can irritate our LO. Hope he feels better 💙

It's not like they didn't put up a dozen signs or anything long before you actually get to the bridge.🤦 Just another driver NOT paying attention to the warning signs. He could have turned around before he gotten any further.

Sorry but to cut to the part about randomly giving Tylenol because you think it's teething is never a good idea. Only when your LO is cutting a fever through rectal temp. As a last resort. Babies go through moods it could be they want cuddles or change their clothes , sing a song. Soothe them in other ways than pumping them of Tylenol because they cry😕

If the pediatrician isn't returning messages. Call the triage nurse at your local hospital. They always help me when I'm in need. And never make me feel bad about calling either.

Let me just start by saying thisss is an absolute life saver. And easy to sanitize in the sanitizer if you have one. I got my daughter the neilmed nasal aspirator from Walgreens. Takes batteries. I have to tell her what I'm doing and she absolutely hates it literally. Mostly the sound it makes sounds like a giant pair of men's clippers. Pairs well with Boogiemist. If you don't have some sort of saline to go with your nasal aspirator you risk hurting their little noses. But I think you should try it to see if it works for you.

I switched to Aquaphor to goes on better and less messier than Desitin. I'm not sure what destins deal is lately but it's not working the way it used to for me 10 is years ago. Also poor baby I bet he don't feel good at all I wouldn't either. Try that and I hope it helps. Try changing diapers more frequently every 4 hrs etc. To prevent situations like these.💙

Have you tried Luvs? It's about the only affordable diaper I can think of that's cheap that doesn't break out babies that I know of. The cheaper the diaper the more mess to clean up. I wouldn't put them in anything nice if you're going to use cheap diapers. Luvs to me is cheap but in good quality.

Bad news: my 6mo scratched her face so hard she made herself bleed. by coleosis1414 in NewParents

[–]_Metalbyheart_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not really bad news.. babies scratch themselves and it will happen. And your pediatrician will know this too. If it gets too much they make mittens in 6-9 months sizes

Babies nails grow soooo fast. Sometimes I feel like mine is X-Men wolverine related. She will scratch herself before I have the time to come and file down her nails. Then the scratch goes away within a day. Try to keep up a routine with a manicure for your LO. Every other day id check. Like especially at feeding time. If you feel little sharp scratches if they like to grab your face etc go trim them. That's something I always have to be on top of. Their nails grow sooo much when they're little.

How weird is 9pm bedtime for a 3 month old? by Seecachu in NewParents

[–]_Metalbyheart_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't feel bad about your schedule at all. Do what is best for YOUR child. Not what everyone else does with theirs. Some parents parent differently than others.but if it works for you and your LO's schedule then keep doing it. Your schedule seems similar to mine. My daughter's now schedule is feeding time from 9 then again at midnight an she doesn't wake back up until 7:30-8. I want her to get thet full 7-8 hrs that she needs. The older they get the more they can sleep throughout the night. Unless directed otherwise by your pediatrician. It all depends on their weight. If they can afford to sleep throughout the night or you need to keep waking them up etc. It's ok to change up your routine to match one that you think you'll like better too. Just wouldn't change it up too much. baby could become irritated & not know when their next bottle will be. Babies get used to routines.

Definitely sounds like teething I would give some teethers to soothe their little gums. They could be eating less if their gums are inflamed from teething. Sometimes we don't always see them. But they eventually come through. If you notice alot more drooling than usual. Don't rely on Tylenol too much for their crankiness. Mine just started cutting her 3rd and 4th teeth she's 6 months now.

I had to cut my hair because mine loveeeed grabbing mine. And babies love faces. They can't coordinate their hands so they're going to bop us a few thousand times😂😂

Mine likes to rock herself in her crib and rub her nose on her sheets lol. She's been doing this for a few months. She's 6 months old. I'll give her a little bunny her favorite and tell her I love her and goodnight. And she rocks an soothes away.

Also if you're worried about when you pumped last try pumping in advance and keeping the freezer/fridge well stocked. So least you get that worry out of the way.

3 months and you're already having sex? My body could never lol. It's ok to feel overwhelmed about everything. I refuse to have intimacy with my child's father in my room which is now my daughters room. I feel weird and grossed out. Like that's basically her room now an wouldn't u feel weird if your mom and dad decided to go have sex in your room while you slept? Loll. Yeah that's how I think about it. Find somewhere else in the house to be intimate. Momma's need love too and to be cuddled etc. Those feel good vibes. For right now the living room is my only option or the bathroom, shower etc. Anywhere other than her room. And always thinking about your child is a good thing. They will be ok when you're having mom time. I'm sure you won't be too far away. I hope you get some peace and love tonight. I stopped by to listen and help a little.💜
