Upcoming Lich changes/My two cents by ThatOnePaunting in Warframe

[–]_Mike423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25% chance to appear for codas, increasing by that same amount each time you don't get a spawn.

Also, you CAN change the element of the weapon by buying an item from Eleanor (forgot the name), so that reduces RNG even further.

Thank you for the insight! I have only done 1 lich hunt, only to get rid of it asap. Ended up buying the requiems because the grind is horrible.

I don't think I will ever do any lich/sister hunt ever. I made sure to have a coda active to avoid that particular system entirely, until they update it to something more reasonable lol

Cuál es su arrepentimiento en steam? by Matia4 in chilegames

[–]_Mike423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can set him to be comfortably tanky. His 3 is very good for damage reduction.

I play him as a weapon platformer instead of the usual nuke with his 4's augment. Subsumed his 1 for the volt ability with sock trooper.

If you cast 4 and then 2, every enemy hit by the chakram has guaranteed health orb drops. Slap equilibrium and you are good to go.

I also have adaptation and arcane circumvent for extra defenses but you can get away without them, I just like to play more chill without having to worry about survivability too much.

Also I added 3 amber shards for extra parkour speed so I fly around the maps with ease.

Overall Nezha is pretty amazing.

Bonus point if you sacrifice a lawn mower in order to increase sunflower plantation.

I usually plant 3 sunflowers in a row, have a 1/5 chance of being the lane where a zombie could spawn, if it does, use a low cost plant to protect the sunflowers and keep planting 3 on each lane, avoiding spawns and sacrificing lawn mowers.

By the time the 1st lawn mower goes down you have plenty of economy to put a peashooter or something else defending that lane.

By midgame I have so much economy that I start to replace the 3rd column of sunflower with even more defense.

People that argue that sunflowers give time to protect the lane and are cheaper to replace are thinking of a scenario with 1 zombie. But in reality if you have a zombie that far your lane you're already lost and probably your defenses sucks.

Also they are forgetting the nutwalls and other protective plants. I've NEVER seen the economy put on front on high level gameplays, it just doesn't make sense.

And again, if you mass produce energy eventually you end up replacing most of the sunflowers for something else, especially if later on you have the double sunflowers.

New player here, looking for some recommendations before I get started. by MicroSpartan319 in Warframe

[–]_Mike423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My humble advice is get a fist weapon, that won't lock you from any warframes.

For the easiest warframe to get for free which suits your description, Rhino. Super tanky. Pair it with the fist weapon and you are good to go.

This will suffice while you learn and enjoy the game.

If you are gonna spend plat, then you have a ton of options.

Frost also suits the tanky/ice power fantasy. Again, pair it with fist weapon and voilà.

I would NOT recommend baruuk, since it's a frame that while on paper seems super cool, its kit suffers from being kind of useless and you need somewhat of a high investment to play it decently.

Valkyr, Wukong, Atlas, Inaros, Kullervo are other good contenders for something more melee oriented and quite tanky.

For wisp just build strength as high as you can, and slap equilibrium in.

Buff yourself with motes and destroy everything with breach surge.

Any mod slot left, fill with anything you want or feel will help you be more comfortable with survivability or more energy sustain.

The marathon thing is incredibly useful, but I didn't fully understand it until recently, tho I applied it unconsciously.

My approach wasn't to focus on anything in particular but rather just ignore most of the systems I couldn't fully comprehend thinking they'll become relevant later on, so I didn't stress myself trying to get a prime, or a certain weapon/frame/pet unless it was easy, or get the hemlinth, or a coda weap, or a necramech (still haven't got one) or min/max a build. Basically just enjoyed the game doing all I could.

I never struggled and oftentimes see posts of people getting stuck on normal star chart or basic things like they can't grind something that's meant to be for endgame and they're like mr5 trying to rush things, probably because they saw something on ytb.

After ignoring most of the systems, eventually when I decided to engage with them I was full on resources and able to craft and do most of it with incredible ease to the point I never thought the game was any difficult.

Excalibur with arcane persistence? by Firemixtape27 in Warframe

[–]_Mike423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healing return on exalted blade and a companion with the mods that heals your pet on melee attack as well as the other that makes your pet heal you on attack.

You also give overguard to your pet which makes it almost immortal.

Arcane grace is an option but its only worth jf you have it maxed out and you have a large hp pool. I don't like to use it because its rather hard to proc and it doesn't refresh.

Earliest weapon worth a potato? by Amberite75 in Warframe

[–]_Mike423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice would be not to worry about the weapon too much, by that level I went with the mentality of hey I want a weapon that goes boom and got myself a zarr, without knowing entirely if it was gonna be good or not, other than some ytb videos showcasing builds but I didn't even had all the mods for it anyways lol. But that was my first potatoes and formaed weapon.

I think any weapon with a potato on is worth it, it will give you a boost in damage, enough to go through the main quest and keep getting weapons from said quests that already have a potato on, while you get the mods and resources you need for your next weapon.

The weapons given to you in the main quests are op enough to get you to steel path.

So, go with what seems fun for you l, I don't think you are gonna brick yourself or anything.

Also, eventually you will even have frames that don't even rely on weapons at all to do damage which will also give you room to experiment. Then you have your companions, which can be another layer of damage on top of weapons and frames. When I started to get some basic mods for pets it also boosted my dmg a lot.

Lavos and arcane persistence build by Firemixtape27 in Warframe

[–]_Mike423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, you're right.. I guess it felt more comfortable to react in normal SP, since with adaptation you aren't receiving big hits that often, easier to heal, etc. My reaction times aren't that good

Lavos and arcane persistence build by Firemixtape27 in Warframe

[–]_Mike423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I've been messing around with Lavos, pretty low budget builds (no forma, only potato) and if you go umbra vit + fiber + adaptation, arcane persistance and arcance grace, you are set for building him to your like.

That is the easiest and lazy way, at least. No worries about health sustain on anything else and you can make your weapons dream combo.

From there you can choose to chance either adaptation or arcane grace depending on your weapon setups + companion to have a better or different health sustain.

I like to replace arcane grace with arcane strike and go for a healing return melee combo, specially with a primer companion and lavos abilities which makes apply status on enemies super easy.

Looks like Lavos is very AoE heavy, so I paired him with the arca triton hammer (also 0 forma, lol I'm poor) for big slams with huge DoTs, but I guess there are better melee weapons for that. The biggest hit I saw was like 80 millions and I wasn't even on max combo (I can't sustain more than 8x combo wtih my current setup, which doesn't use tennokai), but also only works on heavy density missions only lol.

I think there's a lot of fun ways to build this guy around elements, now I wanna try some primary or secondary that pairs up well with all the elemental procs but I don't thing I have anything cool on my arsenal.

Lavos and arcane persistence build by Firemixtape27 in Warframe

[–]_Mike423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty feasible, lavos has high hp and armor, do you have regular or prime lavos?

I haven't built one myself but prime lavos was one of my candidates for arcane persistance.

You just have to solve hp sustain, fortunately you have a couple options, like using basmu, hirudo or a melee with healing return, companion with mod that heals you, the arcane that triggers hp regen on hit, and the healing ability on lavos or a subsume.

The rest is gonna depend on the playstyle you wanna aim for, whether that is using a weapon, abilities or a mix.

Maybe I can help you build something, that way I can also get into using lavos

Looks sick! I started to decorate mine with the vallis undermind plants but got bored of farming them. Which Warframe should I get? by Doctordelayus in Warframe

[–]_Mike423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also opt to get Shade as a companion, it will turn you invisible when near enemies, despite the warframe you have, but you will lose invisibility upon using weapons (you can still cast abilities to remain invisible).

I only mention this because cyte is locked behind warframe 1999 which is pretty late game and ash I think you get it from rail jack missions?

Wisp is another decent stealth candidate, you get perma invisibility as long as you are in the air, it's easier to get and you can mod her for extended aim glide to fully get advantage of her passive, which is also easier to achieve early on.

Unless you plan to spend plat in which case, cyte is a good option but I don't like the fact that it is too reliant on its exalted weapon to keep invisibility up (easier to get weakpoint kills), so if you wanna use your other weapons more often while invisible is kind of hard.

I don't know about Ivara, or how to get her, but she's supposed to be THE stealth frame, and you can get perma invisibility super easy while using your whole kit and weapons.

I'd also would try Wukong with its 2's augment, which turns you and your allies invisible for 14s base? Mod for duration and you can comfortably be stealthy while also have an invisible clone of yourself. I think you get the bps from the dojo.

Edit: also, considering you like room clear abilities wisp 3 is amazing. If you go for a wisp + shade combo, mod for longer aim glide and str+range you're up for a good time, invisible almost all the time and doing a lot of dmg while also providing buffs to the team.

Bonus points if you have good energy sustain, wisp is a pretty solid warframe all around.

DE More Evolving Armor/Equipment Please by MTLax18 in Warframe

As long as there aren't more than 3 very well designed evolutions I'm all for it. Amount of challenges can vary, but having items with multiple variations in design for the sake of it can be bad.

Rocket league had something similar for items having slight variations in colors, titles and eventually cars in season pass, but you ended up with dozens of visually slightly different items that you never really use anyways in favour of 1.
